SOS! 2002 subaru wrx Immobiliser code issues..
Hello, first time posting because I can't find any other solution to my problem.
I purchased a 2002 subaru wrx bug eye with a blown motor off my dads mate that he has had sitting there for ages. It came with a running ej20 motor i just had to drop it in, wich I dropped in the other day and everything was going smooth! Started and ran well and sounded great after the install everything seemed ok, central locking worked, happy days. So I went to sleep and I planned on driving it home in the morning, I got in and ofcourse it wouldn't start and now the car is stuck out at my mates in the middle of nowhere! I done abit of research and found out about this immobiliser code bull****. It alarmed immobilized itself and now i need the code to un-imobilze it and of course, I don't Have got the code So what can I do? Would subaru be able to reset the code for me? What are my chances? This whole immobiliser situation has got me pulling my hair out and worried i might have to turn it into a boat anchor. Will Removing the brant system solve my immobiliser problem? by-pass? Will uninstalling the alarm system under the E-brake do anything? Not sure what to do from here, Any info and help would be much appreciated, thanks! |
