I feel ya. I have to admit, I'm not as hyped about fantasy this year as I have been in the past. But I know if I don't do at least one league I'll regret it when the season actually starts.

Victor Caratini becomes a future sports trivia question.

With Padres Joe Musgrave's no hitter, Caratini becomes the first catcher in MLB history to be behind the plate for consecutive no-nos.

He was catcher for the Cubs last season when Alec Mills threw the most recent on 9/13.

Wow, why admit defeat now when he's almost gone anyway?

Should have happened 9 years ago

EDIT: To be clear I'm the one guy that picks the Angels to win the WS...because fanboy.

I was not happy about his signing. What a waste of $240,000,000

Yeah.... probably time to release the 41 47 year old.
Everyone in the entire world, except Moreno, knew how ****ty of a contract that was.

Think anyone will ever touch his GiDP record?

I was shocked to see Barry Bonds so low on the list until I remembered he only had two batting modes:

"Homerun" and "Strikeout swinging"

Bonds has a career average of .298 with almost 3000 hits

And compared to his compatriots his GiDP ratios are lower then the likes of A-Rod, Jeter, Manny, Griffey, etc...

I don't like Barroid but he was a hell of a hitter before roids. You might have him confused with Sosa.

Ummm … yea … no

Bonds at the plate was a monster for his whole career … sure the later years were dominated by home runs, but he walked (both intentionally and unintentionally) at a rate which will probably never be replicated. His strikeouts were also absurdly low considering he was swinging for the fences. Bonds can take a lot of **** for the juicing issues (and he wasn’t the only one … a lot of MLBers were juicing hard), but as a hitter he was one of the most disciplined of the era and his skill was so insane that he barely got the chance to swing the bat in the back half of his career. Bonds was a monster … pre and post juice

Exactly. Without juice he'd be in HOF, no question!

I'd rather see Bonds in the HoF than potentially any Astros cheater.

WTF is wrong with the Yankees? They can dominate the White Sox and sweep them, then look like a JV squad up against the Tigers. 0 consistency this year

The video of the Durham Bulls pitcher taking a line drive to the head is ****ing awful.

Not going to post it, search it out if you dare. They've at least upgraded him to stable condition in the last couple of hours.

Get the **** over it already. Nothing the Astros did changes that they still won the World Series because they were that good that year. The entire league cheats, and many far worse than anything the Astros did.

They didn't "win" a World Series, they cheated, they stole it.

Many teams would be "good" if they did what they did, going from last in the league with Ks to first basically overnight. Such amazing skills!

Sorry, your whataboutism here does not compare.
