That seems reasonable for an early 90s Toyota truck. That market is on fire right now for well maintained examples.

Just got a mailer from the local dealership expressing that the value of my 2011 STi sedan is $8120 and that I should take advantage of this trade in value.

I did finally stop getting those. But then again, my STi will be old enough to vote by March.

I didn't look into it but saw on FacsSpace it may be CVT only. In that case nothing lost.

How else are you going INVEST your money?

I don't know who's dumber, the person that swapped everything or the person buying.

In this market it is definitely the buyer.

Here are a few from my local Craigslist crackhead listings.

2018 STi with over 100k miles for $29k
https://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/ctd/d/lenoir-2018-subaru-wrx-sti-awd-100k/7393609967.html

2010 STi hatch with 46k miles for $31k. “ I’m asking a little more $$ than some of the older STI’s out there, strictly bcuz it is in perfect condition with such low miles.”
https://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/d/charlotte-2010-subaru-wrx-sti-hatchback/7400379257.html

2008 WRX hatch with 46k miles for $18k

I can see 22 BRZs bringing bigger pricetags for fanbois who must have them first. Like the first generation BRZ, those 376 people worldwide who must have them will buy at dealer gouging markups, then they'll sit on the floor. I have already sent an email to Planet Subaru (NASIOC vendor), where I've bought our last 2 Subarus and my son bought his asking about the price of a no option silver manual limited. I also put in my email that if there's stupid dealer gouging games, to never mind for now. They show 1 incoming blue one. I'll take one out for a test drive when my back brace comes off and my ortho doctor says ok. But no....I won't pay over MSRP. I won't even pay MSRP. I'll buy something else if they insist on gouging, even if it's far more expensive. Although at this point, my second choice is an AP2 S2000. I know where there's one where the owner really wants a GT-R and it's on the lift in my garage at the moment.
