Default Squeaky clutch of doom

Hello all I made a similar post a little while back and then had my email stolen and couldn't access this website. My clutch pedal on my 08 wrx squeaks so loud when pressed or let out. It does this regardless of gear temperature or the car being on. It is coming from the pedal as it is the loudest when I shove my head under the dash. I have applied a ton of different lubes all over and cannot figure out what's wrong. if someone could provide a list of other things to lube or look at that would be helpful. Its my daily so I'm losing my mind and am about to go pull a pedal from a parts car and swap it. That sounds like a pain and I don't want to so if there is a fix before I get there please let me know. I cannot post a video of the sound as I don't think I have the unlocked yet.

I had this issue as well. You'll most likely need a new pedal assembly. You won't be able to replace just the defective one. They only sell the entire set new.

I chased this squeak all around in my wrx which was the same gen as yours. I lubbed the pedals, riveted the infamous firewall welds, lubbed the clutch master cylinder rod, nothng worked.

It turned out to be where the clutch fork enters the top of the transmission via a rubber boot. I got in there and lubbed up the pivot points and that fixed it.

Default squeaky clutch

I had this same problem when I bout my 08 wrx, it was the bushing at the clutch master cylinder side of the jackshaft that had worn through and continued to wear through the metal. To check go under the driver side dash and take the pin out of the clutch master cylinder pushrod. check the bushing and the metal around it and make sure the bushing is good. If it is just grease it a tiny bit, if its started eating the metal like in my case I bout the whole pedal assembly and went through the pain of replacing it.
(I'm pretty sure it my pedal assembly was also crack which could have been the cause of the bushing going bad)
