![]() Hello! My name is Dan and I’ve had my 2007 WRX since 2011. Started with 94k, now I’m at 261k miles. Biggest job I attempted was to pull the motor and fix 3 burned out valves, it went fairly well but during reassembly I over torqued exhaust manifold stud and now I have a through hole with a very small but constant oil seepage on the passenger side manifold.
The highest temp thread sealant is way below the manifold’s operating range but I’m thinking maybe a thread locker would work. Anyway, hello again and I’m looking forward to exploring this forum, it’s a gold mine of Subaru knowledge!
