Wow you guys are coming all the way from the midwest to go to the E-town track? Should come out to a classic Eastcoast course like Watkins Glen or Limerock!

This event is open to spectators as well. So even if you're not planning on competing, you should make it out to the event to support the Subaru teams/drivers who will be there. I'm sure many of them will also be more than happy to give you a ride in their car around the track as well.

I also expect one of our cars to establish the track record (long course, counter clockwise) that will be difficult for any other sanctioning body to beat. FX Motorsports Development just shattered the track record for production cars at Carolina Motorsports Park by over 2 seconds!

Most of the cars you'll see this weekend won't be back to this part of the country until the Redline Time Attack Series returns next season. This is your chance to see them!

I would like to show up on sat, just to get some practice in the novice class. What are the rules for this event?

Helmet?
co-driver?
other important details?

never done one of these

They also run the SCCA auto-x events there. And the road course has been bringing in alot of events. Redline and Formula D to name a few.

They have.... Last I spoke with the General Manager, they dropped about $50,000 on paving improvements.

The facility's management is taking maintenance and support of the road course seriously. I hope they finally decide to expand the road course by taking out part, or most of, the one Moto-X track next door. Clean it up, make it safer, re-pave the surface, etc.... and they could have a very nice and serious road racing facility, in a MUCH better location than NJMP is, that is for sure.

Assuming our event goes well this weekend, we'll be back each year! We want to establish a presence in this part of the country, and we believe E Town has the potential to support high level road racing events. Now we just need the support from local enthusiasts!

Saturday is just an Open Track Day and Test & Tune, open to all models of cars and all skill levels. A Helmet is required, passengers are allowed. Long sleeve shirt and long pants are also required. Check for the most up to date schedule on our site come Friday evening. We're adding a few of the Circuit Battles on Sunday.

I'll be there representing www.HamfistRacing.com Sunday if the weather holds up.

You guys should know, Subaru pays out contingency prize money (up to $500) for this event along with Bridgestone and others. Yokohama and Toyo give tires and tire money too! Get you suby's out there and run! Saturday looks like rain, but the runs that count are on sunday. $175 for sunday only.
