Default The Official "Am I an A-Hole Thread"

I know we have the Gripe Thread and Unpopular Opinion thread, however I have seen articles/ other forum's have a similar thread. Figured I could start it here, and see what happens.

I'll start: I have a decent relationship with (1) neighbor. Not that we hang out, drink etc. but we talk nicely and I've let him borrow some tools. Have known him for a few years now. Yesterday, he texts me asking me to feed his fish all weekend while he's out of town. I've never really been inside his house. I respond back stating that "we will be in/out all weekend, and I'd rather not agree to that just in case I can't get over." He responds back with "Well, it'd only be 2 out of the 3 days," as he's leaving Thursday evening/ Friday morning.
I did not respond because I've already stated my answer.

Am I the *******?

Ned,

Did Homer give you the tools back? Or does he keep using them and selling them at yard sales?

Feed his fish. Be a neighborino.

Finally got them back.

And who the hell is Ned!?

How hard is it to feed some fish?

Just agree to do it then poor some bleach in the tank and tell him they all died and he won't ever ask you again.

It's not that hard to feed a fish. Go in, sprinkle, leave. 2 min tops.

agree to feed his fish.

when you go over to feed the fish play with his extensive 17th century weapon collection, and accidentally break the fish tank.

take up the age old profession of male whore to make enough money before he comes home to fix everything.

hilarity will ensue.

and who knows, you might get a sequel no one wanted.

Unless he goes into the guy's hot daughter's room and rifles through her panty drawer.

Then it might take a little longer.

plot twist: dude has cameras everywhere. Salvation27 ends up in court over some Betas.

Also, if you don't want to feed the fish, fine. But be direct about it. Like, "no, sorry I can't", instead of some wishy-washy bull**** answer.

If it's just some freshwater tank with a couple of fish that need a few flakes sprinkled in once a day then what's the big deal.

If it's a saltwater tank with special instructions for each fish then I can see not wanting to do it.

Also, I can understand if you don't want to be responsible while he's away. Like if you forget to lock the door or something and someone breaks in and steals all his ****. I don't know what your liability would be in a case like that.
