That is really bad but then again I guess you get what you pay for

In the past, I've rocked USDM OEM and DEPO headlights and actually think the DEPO headlight lens plastic holds up better than the Subaru OEM lenses.
Both my OEM USDM and current OEM JDM headlights had lenses that spidercracked (is that even a word?) and had to have their lenses replaced.

But that being said, I remember when OEM JDM headlights legitimately could only be found for $800 used around NASIOC (2012ish?) and DEPOs made a lot of sense at the lower price point. But now that JDMs can be had for $350ish, I wonder if the DEPO sales have fallen off a bit. Plus, there's never been a replica of the JDM black chrome headlights (the best, sorry!) so why get anything else?

Finally got around to installing my DSS driveshaft, beatrush diff brace and group n trans mount. Boy I ****ing hate working under cars but it was well worth it. She feels so much nicer shifting, down shifting , leaving the light and got rid of a lot of play/slop I could always hear and feel. Above 70mph the change in NVH is something to get used to, not annoying just different then before. Better sounding then a worn out carrier and a exhausted trans mount indeed.

Thanks, decided to go E85 so that taxed on a couple two or three days but it's cool of them to be down for a last minute change of plans.

In the meantime I'm finishing the rebuild of my bike that's been sitting 9 years since I quit riding. I thought I missed being a motorcycle mechanic but I definitely don't. I've been waaay too sentimental about this thing and cross threading the gawd damm oil plug because I was hungry rushing just gave me the final **** you closure I needed. Still have wiring to do but I just want to burn it now

A small update, but I will say, changing out the trunk floor made a big difference! Definitely makes things feel nicer...

Anyone run FactionFab coilovers? They have decent reviews and are sold by reputable companies. Curious if they are any better than the other cheap coilovers out there like BC's or ISC's.

Looks like more Megan Racing rebranded garbage

I would stick with RCE 1 Way KW or Fortune Auto

I love my RCE 1 way Super Streets they are excellent on the street and on track. Very good valving and great customer service.

Here's a couple shots of my car at VIR earlier this year. I had a blast, the track is awesome. Unfortunately the day ended with a broken front CV, which reared its head on the drive home and not on the track.

Thanks! It really is a great track, along with the facility in general. I'll definitely be making a trip back.

Thank you!

That set up sounds amazing. Still up in the air on what we're going to do, steering wise, but it is definitely on the short list of things needing done.

Changed out the OEM headlight for this aftermarket set. The plastic was hazy and mounting tabs for the grill were broken, so it was just barely hanging on. The price on these was too good to pass up, so they’ll be on for a bit.

I do have another set of OEM units with good mounting tabs that need some work. I got them with the connector for the projectors cut off, so I’ll have to swap that over. I also want to give them a fresh clear coat a polish when I have time for that.

If you have the time do a retrofit on them as well , Its totally worth it as it modernizes the entire car and is glorious

I had Sinister Retroworks in North Carolina do mine, Morimoto D2S light output is insane.

+1
I have a pair of the older cousin of those headlight housings for retrofit. The housing is well made, but the low and high beams that came with it weren't. If you're not set on keeping the LED ring around it, the lower side can fit even relatively large projectors (I fitted EvoX-R 1.0, an e55 type with 3" lens). The upper one is a bit tighter, but some of the newer BiLED projectors may fit.
