Default 02 WRX 4EAT/Auto Torque Converter

Looking for an 02 WRX torque converter. Would like to stay local in NY since its a pretty heavy part. It has to be an 02 as I verified that different years do not fit.

Just curious, what are the differences between 02 and later years?

A few local Subaru guys told me the spline is different. I have an 06 WRX torque convertor and saw that the part numbers were different compared to the 02-03's. I'm going give IPT a call tomorrow and confirm.

Thanks Kroller, but will pass. I spoke to IPT and all 95+ 4EAT torque converters are the same, but have different part numbers. I will use the 06 I have.
