Nice rides out there! I hope to get some wheels soon, got caught up spending lots of money on stereo stuff and OEM addon's. I'd love to see more of these so I can make my mind up on sizes!

i want to get some wheels that look similar to the 04 sti wheels so im thinking either
these rota group a's

or
these rota tarmac 3's

or
these rota g force's

im also not sure if ill go with the gold (which is pretty much the same as the sti bbs golds) or bronze which i think would also look good and less gaudy on my black sedan

I have no personal experience with it,, but I think the 'Full royal sports bronze' would look fantastic on a black wrx.

I was intending on getting some Tarmac3's in gunmetal,.. but that plan may have changed.

For a silver car, bronze would be better. Black cars can go either way.

One guy posted a 17x9 +44 and it fit pretty well. Rota has many 18x8.5 +44 fitments that I think are a good comprise between an agressive look and ease of fitment. I'm trying to also decide between a 17 and an 18" wheel

i've got the 17x9 +44 works and the fitment inside is pretty close. i only plan on dropping on the rce/bilstein suspension so i wont be tempted to lower more and shouldn't be an issue as clearance inboard will hopefully remain the same as stock maybe a tad less which might push me to run a 3mm spacer front and rear, plus it would make it more flush out back. i will repost pics once i get the suspension on, probably 5-6 more weeks though.

definately well worth it! myles did an awesome job. i personally think the drop could be a tad lower, but im not going to complain. my buddy's bugeye scrapes everywhere and he isn't that low, just a little more than he probably should be in the back, and i don't want to scrape. so i will compromise lol.

twentyclowns - out of the three wheels above, the full royal gold looks the best IMO. The middle wheel is half gold/half silver so its not a fully gold wheel. If it were fully gold, I would have a tough time deciding. I also don't like the pic of the stockers painted gold. A little ricey...

Not sure about the top two, but I think the bottom one you posted is just standard rota gold.

Go look at some of the other rota's that 18racing has. Many of them have the color name on the picture, you could look there for a little reference.

I have a 2009 WRB WRX, and I was thinking of going with either the Axis Halo Gold with Black pinstripe, or the Axis Super Hiro with a 10mm Blue pin stripe. I am going with 18x8.5 and I think I am going to get 225/40/R18 tires... not sure what kind yet though. Any suggestions?

sounds good to me man, get what you like. i know people have put that size rim and that size tire on our cars with no clearance issues so you should be good to go.

post pix of the wheels tho...

What's your budget? That will give us a better idea of what to recommend.
