The logs in your screen looks like some short. Try another cable.

Default 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i - Cannot Read ECU

I’ve not flashed your particular ecu type but do you have the correct vehicle selected? I noticed it’s using the 05 sti. I had a problem flashing an auto xt because I didn’t select a 512map tried using same settings as my manual xt which was 04sti. What I ended up doing was downloading a stock rom and upload it to see what it selected for read/write.

I do have the right ECU selected I believe it bundles in '04 '05 '06 '07. It's on texted the cable maker and they're saying they're sending me a new cable that they tested and verified should work so we'll see and I will update the thread once I get it.

Are you still having issues or did you get it figured out. Working through the same issues with my '07 2.5i MT .... Just got to read my ROM for the first time today but not defined so I've hit another brick wall ..... Might be able to assist each other

Appreciate that ... You mean you picked the closest ROM and rolled with it? When I selected the "wizard for developers only" option it did give me a ROM that was close ..... Think that might work? Really looking to tune myself with some custom A/F ratios due to secondary fuel addition.

2007 is an odd year sometimes, with some legacy models, but I've not flashed an n/a ecu of that year. 08+ though, you have to do this trick, in my experience.

you may need to set your communication method to canbus, go into options, and change your CAN seed key to SSMk0 and if that doesn't work, try SSMk1.
