Default Wheel Lug Nut Torque for 2015 WRX w/ RPF1’s

I have RPF1’s on my 2015 WRX- is 89 ft-lbs too high for lug nut torque or should I drop down to ~ 75-80 ft-lbs or so? The manual is specific to spare tire change (89ft-lbs) and not necessarily Al alloy wheels and I’m unsure if they are they same torque value. Also running Project Kics Caliber 24 lug nuts in case that matters.

Lug nut torque is based on developing the correct clamp load by properly loading (stretching) the studs. The torque value doesn't change based on the wheels or lug nuts used.

Depends on how bad the bend is, but most are.

yes but to repair and refinish is ~$200 and a new wheel is ~$280. Plus its never as good as new. Made a coffee table out of the old one

Haha- figured that might be the case, but thx! I did go with 17”s, so hopefully the additional sidewall helps a bit.
