Finally got some use out of my lift. Increased ground clearance is nice especially going over the ruts on the road up to this place. I probably should have bought a Crosstrek....

First things first, I'm Jack, a.k.a. GrandPaJack, glad I found this site. Let me give a short background on my build..so far I've replaced the struts/coils with new Forester for that model year. My front alignment is off and can't be adjusted any further, what can I do fix that? I'll be getting the SSolution 2" spacers and new 16x7 rims and tires next week. Any help would be great. GPJ

Just lifted my 2015 Impreza
Before and after with a 2" lift. I'll be going with slightly larger tires too, looking forward to the snow this winter.

Help 2011 lifted wrx
Hello all, first post here. I have been all over the internet looking for answers including various FB groups and have came up empty so I hope yall can provide insight. I have a 2011 wrx lifted in last couple months on an adf 2 in front and 2.5 rear kit. Well when i first did the lift i kept stock springs and replaced the struts with the kybs, they blew out soon after. So i again replaced with kybs but swapped out with king spring stock heights. They blew again. Both times only the rear. And idk what to do next, I have talked to adf as well as slo and neither can figure out why its happening when I havent even offroaded yet. Just strictly dd paved roads, til i get the car where i want it. This next time i was gonna take it to a dif shop just to rule that out. But should I go with kybs again? another strut brand? (koni or pedder) or coilovers? I do have cash to play but I need to make it count as i cant keep replacing these. So please help before I say F it and just remove everything entirely.

Hey all, I posted a question for engine replacement over in that forum for my road Impreza, I figure since I've owned Imprezas for a little while now and I've used this forum quite a bit for info on my rallyx car prep, I should start posting.
Here's my rallycross car. It's gutted and has front and rear strut towers as well as a harness bar. I bought it from a club mate at the beginning of the year and only got to use it once so far! I made a fair few repairs and modifications/additions during the covid shutdown and raced it back in June. Did pretty well for my first real rallycross but I broke the exhaust (again, apparently it had been re-welded multiple times). In between races I decided to just go ahead and replace the whole thing, it was a frankenexhaust with an aftermarket header, stock cat pipe, and a blown out muffler that didn't muffle any more. I decided to keep the header and just go 2.5" straight pipe right from head to tail. I don't have a welder (yet...), so I decided to get fitted pipe and used lap band clamps to fix the whole thing together. It actually worked really well, no leaks at any of the clamps which is great. It is obscenely loud though and I feel guilty for subjecting my neighbours to it whenever I fire it up . I used these cheap strips of metal to hang it, they look flimsy but they're holding well, and it looks like the isolators are really stressed in that pic but that was while I was locating the assembly. I added 2 more hangers to lift it into place in the middle and relieve those rear isolators. Anyway, I'll be racing it this weekend so it'll be interesting to see the performance difference with this exhaust versus the old 3" one with cats. e: anyone know why my image links aren't imbedding? |

I don't get why many subaru owners overlook forest green, great choice!
