it's shaves off about 12.5 lbs but the real benefit is elimination of the bearing of the stock two piece so it's more solid feeling

Howzit gang! Finally got around to installing the group N motor mounts today. Holy chit what a PITA it was getting that one bolt off by the steering column, gotta be a contortionist. Well the car feels a lot better now and the throw out bearing rattle I was experiencing is gone as well.

I see that JDM STI trans mount goodie! Thanks again for your purchase.

Your build here is looking really nice. Quality suspension you picked out.

Enjoy!

Thanks brother Ken. I'm trying to get this thing set before I take it to the track. Looking at doing cooling upgrades next, aftermarket radiator and possibly oil cooler.

Awesome build and the use of OEM quality parts.

Dont worry about cooling for the track if thats whats keeping you from going. OEM setup is good with stock power levels. Set of good tires tho....

Well instead of buying winter tires for the STI I decided to pick up a winter wagon instead...just need to tidy up a few things on it and new tires but it seems to be running really well for 167k miles on it

Very nice on the twin scroll. So a question, how are you going to maintain your OEM+ quest with a twin scroll setup? There's no factory 2.5L twin scroll tune that I'm aware of.

Edit: NVM, forgot you had already done a grimspeed DP.

Installed JDM HIDs with leveling switch and PIAA fog bulbs after work today. Guess I might need to make another thread for this wagon soon lol.

Well, the JDM S402 was a 2.5L Twin Scroll setup lol.

When it comes to OEM+ some things like tuning software and wear items aren't worth it

So finally got a chance to take her to a track event last month and the car is phenomenal with just the few mods it has, probably won't be doing much else for now except for dedicated track tires.

Started to have second thoughts on putting twin scroll on the STI. I may end up putting it on the WRX wagon now. I like the STI as it is now after doing a track event, don't think I will benefit much from going twin scroll.
