All in all, as long as you know there will be a wait, especially for a custom engrave, not too bad of an experience. I basically paid and didn't think much of it for about 8 weeks. Total time from order to arrival: ~15 weeks.

Communication is OK. Doesn't really keep you up to date with your order unless you follow up with him yourself. When asked he provided updates and estimated dates which, for me, ended up being pretty accurate.

Shipping seems to be weird. Got the tracking for USPS (2-day priority), but it sat for 2 weeks as "Labeled Created" and then randomly showed up. Not sure what the deal there is, but it seems to be a common issue.

The end product: pretty damn good. Finish and engraving were pretty much what I expected. My pattern was off 90* when screwed on. I sent an email asking, but for now I just threw a jam nut in there to square it up.

Another thing you can do when the pattern is off 90° is put teflon thread tape (plumbers' tape) on the threads. That should let you thread it on down lower if your reverse lockout is a bit awkward with the jam nut.

May give that a shot since it does need to sit a tad higher with the jam nut.

Installed shot:

Just because someone created a label doesn t mean they put it on a box and shipped it out.
I like that one, similar to my in style.

Just to clarify: He said it was being shipped on day X, got the Label Created notice on day X, but didn't arrive until 2 weeks later. Not that it bothered me, just reviewing thoroughly.

I also do not highly recommend Anarchy Motive. It did take awhile to get the custom knob but I wasn’t in a rush to get it. So I finally got it and I installed it and the numbers did not sit straight when fully screwed in. I tried on a buddies car (same as mine) same thing, the numbers didn’t sit straight.
I messaged Derrick and he just told me that all stock shifters are different on all 2018 wrxs. So his fix was for me to take a small stripe of thread tape or BLUE threadlocker to get it to set perfectly straight. I shouldn’t have to do any of this as I ordered this to fit properly and thats what I paid for. Not for some half ass job and have him tell me how to fix his mistake. After reading previous posts I don’t even want to bother asking for a refund and return this paper weight. I’ll take my lost as a lesson learn “Do not buy from Anarchy Motive”.

Default Anarchy Motive --- BBB Press Release

I know there is another thread of this company, but i want to make this a new thread to let everyone know about their reputation.

Long story short, i ordered a knob in around 1/15, and still haven't heard any ETA of my product, no email response. Initially, i still received email, just saying that i will receive a tracking once the product ship out. But no ETA what so ever. People will say their stuff is the best. But guess what, i don't care how good their stuff is if you can't deliver. I asked for a refund, no reply. Money just went down the drain.

And then the other day. I found an article. Looks like BBB already started a press release for this company. Please read below.

https://www.bbb.org/article/news-rel...eliver-product

I have one of their products. He is capable of putting out a fine product but appears not to have much in the management skills. I say this only to point out that I don t think they are a flat out fraud just taking money with no intent or ability to deliver. It s a shame, I wish I had his business to run.

Hopefully you guys are paying with a credit card. Then just dispute and you get instant credit. This is usually when the owner steps up his game, LOL.

4/9 UPDATE

Just want to update everyone with my situation. I have gotten some email from Anarchy Motive after i post this thread. I don't think he notice this thread, i think it's just the matter of when he has time to get to your part. When your part is getting closer to be complete, he will send you email just to show you he was doing work. Anyway, 2 weeks later, i finally got my shift knob after 3 months wait. BUT it's the WRONG knob. I ordered the 6 speed Mammoth, and it came in as a 6 speed Altas. I emailed him immediately, and 4 days so far. Not a god damn response, and i probably won't be expecting anything from him anymore.

So in conclusion, do yourself a favor, and buy somewhere else. this company is NOT worthed for your time and money.

I am currently involved in a paypal dispute with Anarchy Motive as well due to missed delivery dates and failure to respond to communication in a timely manner. I placed my order for a 6 Speed Mammoth in Galaxy Black on 2/22/19. On March 14 I followed up with Derrick to see what the status was and I was told "The black base is sprayed. I've got a few other colors to spray before I do the silver metallic so I can do em all at once. It won't be too long before it goes." I sent two more emails on April 1 and April 23 with no response. I waited a few more days after the final email and then filed a claim when I realized I wasn't going to get a response and I'm not going to wait 3-6 months for a $60 shift knob.

Gonna bump this one more time with a final update. Paypal decided in my favor since Anarchy Motive never responded to my paypal claim. I highly advice you all to avoid Anarchy Motive at all costs as they seem to have gone dark.

That's from a thread he made about being upset that he got ripped off by another company. The irony here is palpable. He still posts here and checks this thread regularly. He's just too much of a coward to deal with his unethical business practices directly. Still lies and tries to act like all is taken care of. It's got to be a pretty pathetic existence tbh.

Really, this guy should be put in scammer central and banned like every other POS who does what he does.

I'll say the same thing I said in the other thread.

I don't deal with it publicly, but thanks. Also, I am not a vendor here, and will not conduct business as such.

No one has gone dark, but the moment you file a PayPal claim there will be zero work done on your project and the order will be cancelled. That's in the ToS, which you agree to at checkout.

How about the two months between your last response to me and the date I filed the paypal claim? Had you just replied to either of my two emails I wouldn’t have had to file a claim but you left me no choice. In the time it took to get an answer I placed an order from Billetworkz and received my parts...

Make all the excuses you want but your BBB page says it all.

And it's just as much a lie now as it was then.

Blaming a claim filed two months later for not originally finishing work is pretty weak.

Have you no ethics? No morals? No conception of the difference between right and wrong?

I have a anarchy shifter. Vendor does great work, I love it. I experienced similar, but I don t think it was out of the vendor scamming you out of money. Just not , well, as Garry was trying to say. Concern for just keeping you out holding, waiting , wondering, just not a good way to treat customers.
Id love to be partners and run this vendors business side because like I said, they do nice work on the product. These days with the internet a vendor must be ontop of these things. No excuses!

Like Mark ^, I have a shift knob from AM that is top notch. I was really blown away by it once I finally received it, and it is one of my favorite pieces on the car. Granted, I experienced the same thing as everyone else, but I guess I am just one of the lucky ones. I think I even offered as well to help him on the business side at one point, but wasn't interested.

Unhappy Man I wish I would have researched this...

My buddy ordered a custom knob and received it less than a month. I ordered one back in June and still cant get more then a "im breathing but not making your knob" response from this fu**ing guy. Order from somewhere else people. Or make your own lol. You will get it much faster. Im not going to request a refund (tried that, he suddenly started replying). Ill just wait and maybe one day ill get a nice surprise package. Spirit Airlines has better customer service than this guy.

Default Anarchy Motive still at it

I really wish I found this thread before I placed an order with this piece of ****. I placed an order for a shift knob back in September. Exact same series of bull**** lies coming from Derrick.
Inquiring about the status of the order I would receive an order "update" of "I'm really busy. I do these as a side hobby" as any inquisitive person is, I requested photos to see what this new addition to my vehicle looks like. Only to be met with I'll get you a picture when I get home. No picture ever provided.
Derrick @anarchymotive has gone to the extent of blocking me on IG so I cant inquire about my order, and has more than likely blocked my emails. This dude is a low life piece of ****.

So Derrick tried to keep the private conversation between him and myself private via PM. So I figured I'd share the a$$ h0les admittance to deception.

What is your Anarchy Motive order number?

I don't have a single open order from anyone in Alaska currently.

I have no one blocked on IG from Alaska or any recent STi owners blocked that I know of.

There's no blocked emails.

So... I sent him a reply to his PM. I'll be honest yall I'm no longer a subaru owner. I used to own a 2007 STi. I now own a 2018 Tacoma OR. Anyway, this guy knows where his open orders are and doesnt give a ***** about them. I replied to his questions and statements and now I've been met with no replies once again. I dont live too far from him. I've been heavily considering going to collect my money in person. He may have blocked me but the internet is a fantastic tool for locating people.

For those who are still awaiting their orders he knows your waiting and has no intent of fulfilling your order.
