Default Terrible service.

I ordered a scoop delete back in march and I have still yet to get it. Tried e-mailing, calling, land using their message system several times with no luck getting ahold of anyone. Seems like an awful business. I don't recommend them.

Um.... yeah... that's what I said. You ordered off ebay, and the 24 items they've got posted there are just a bunch of surplus.

That's a fraction of what they make. Or should I say used to make? Who knows...

Add me to the list of bad experiences with kstech. Ordered a louver plate directly from kstech may 12th. After 2 weeks of no update on status or shipping, sent them an email and left a voicemail asking about the status, no response. Waited another 2 weeks, tried again, no response, so I did a chargeback in June.

Same week in June, found a different retailer selling their parts, so I tried ordering through them in the hopes they had it in stock. Same story, a month with no info, retailer couldnt get ahold of them, so they refunded my money last week

Just lucked out and found someone in the private classifieds selling their scoop delete, so i snatched that up. Still searching for a louver plate.

Just thought I’d add my recent experience. I talked to Import Image Racing about getting a KS Tech scoop block plate among some other things. They said they were having issues getting KS Tech to fill orders so they dropped them as a vendor. Being that there aren’t many options to block the scoop opening while still retaining the scoop, I took the chance and ordered the plate direct through KS Tech’s site.

I took the chance because I thought maybe something weird was going on and all this was just an anomaly. I had ordered spacers from them a few years back through their site and received a call maybe 45 minutes after placing my order, saying that they knew it was race season and they might not be able to get them to me for like four or five days or something and wanted to make sure that wasn’t going to hold me up. I told them it wasn’t and I received them about a week later. Seemed pretty stellar to me at the time.

I placed the order July 19 and didn’t receive any kind of confirmation email, call, anything. But the money did transfer. A week later was when I came across this thread and got a bit worried, so I emailed asking for a status update. I gave it a few more days and sent an email on August 2 saying that I came across this thread on NASIOC, if I didn’t receive some sort of update I would have to go through my bank to be issued a refund, recounted my previous excellent experience ordering though them, and ended it saying I’m really just hoping to receive the part so I can finish up my car.

August 10 I received an order update that it shipped. We’ll see when it gets here and I’ll update accordingly. As of this writing the USPS tracking number still just says label created, still awaiting arrival at USPS facility.

Block plate got here today in good order. Overall service was less than stellar, especially compared to last time. But I paid what I believe to be a fair price and I received the item that I ordered, albeit after slight nagging unfortunately, so I’m content.

That’s because it’s surplus. It’s literally sitting on a shelf pre-made. Dude is shipping out remaining stock. Nothing is being made.. strictly liquidation. Look at the other kstech thread going. People need to stop ordering and stand up against bad practices.

Just found this thread and now I'm a bit bummed out, I ordered some weldless TGV deletes over the weekend and was hoping they'd ship soon. Looks like they probably won't...back to JB weld I guess.

I was looking for a cai that would work with a Perrin front mount. Came across kstech and this thread shortly after. I was very disappointed to read all the negative comments but I shot them an email before ordering to see if they would even respond. I also emailed Perrin for two of the intercooler pipes at the same time. KS Tech responded to me the same day and Perrin was two days after. I actually was pretty upfront with ks in saying I read a lot of negative stuff about them and wanted to get in touch before ordering. They said a lot of the stuff online is probably justified because they had some personnel and supplier issues when they moved to NC. They also told me that intakes were backlogged about a week. I went ahead and ordered. I had a tracking number about a week after I placed my order and the intake arrived shortly after. So far I’m happy with the product and the service. From my experience and what I’ve read I would suggest emailing them before ordering so you know when your order would ship.

I placed an order from them 2/1/20 for phenolic spacers and thottle.body adapter for my long runner intake manifold to work on my 07 sti. And was just emailed today 2/5/20 it has been shipped. After reading this forum I was skeptical but it looks like kstech is getting their things in order. Dont lose faith

Not to downplay your positive experience, but a friend of mine had the same issues I did getting them to ship a hood scoop delete. Hammered them with calls and emails that went unanswered, waited too long to do a chargeback so he's out that money. He contacted them on facebook and they blocked him. Great customer service there, more like theft to me.

Ordered parts - tracking number was created but that's it. Emailed and never a response. Contacted him on Ebay and he replied right away.

Filing the dispute tomorrow with my card company.

I'll have manifold spacers and throttle body adaptors/spacers. If anyone is interested you can PM me. I'll have a few sets of each made.

Ordered a scoop delete on 4/21. Haven't heard anything, seen tracking info nor have I reached out. Fingers are very much crossed that I receive the product. Will update.

I ordered a hood scoop delete plate a few months ago. Immediately got the order confirmation. Got shipment notification and tracking information less than a week later. I received the part a little over two weeks from when I ordered it.

Overall it was a pretty good experience considering how relatively small kstech is. It's not a huge company like some of the others out there, so keep that in mind.

I received the scoop delete. After I posted on 4/27 I went ahead and emailed asking when I would receive tracking information. It was shipped later that day (doubt this was a coincidence) and received on 4/30. A little disappointing that I felt the need to reach out after just about a week, but no issues nonetheless.

Add me to the list.

Ordered a KStech scoop delete vent on 5 December 2022 paid for express international shipping. Still hasn't shipped out. Emailed a couple times no response.

tried calling, line cannot be connected to. I just hope I don't need to file a paypal dispute, but looks like I will. It sucks as there isn't much selection when it comes to these hood scoop delete vents.

I had purchase parts from them in the past and did not hesitate to order some parts on Dec 4th 2022, no response from numerous emails and tried the phone as well and it was off-hook/busy tone. I waited over 1 month before I ended up filing a complaint on PayPal which they gave until Jan. 17th to respond. PayPal ended up crediting me back my money. Very unfortunate and hope all is well.

Wish the website would have a notice if its a temporary problem. I wouldn't hesitate to support small business and wait.

Default 2.5i DBW to DBC TB adapter

Placed the order back in December, have had the same experience as most people recently. No updates and all calls and emails are being ignored, or they go straight to voice mail. Super sucks as I am having trouble finding another company that makes the same adapter.

Their website is now no longer up as well.

Annoyed as hell I didn't buy the TB adapter I needed while it was available.

Default Poor Customer Service

Wanted to order an Intake from them, however their website went offline at some point, later came back online but the payment check out process cannot complete.

Countless emails and calls back to back but not even a single response!!

Ive ordered an item from them way back in 2018 and received the item. But honestly im appalled but their un proffesionalism and lack of communication.

I really dont know whats going on with them!! Anyone with any feedback from them? Recently?

My guess is covid or another life altering issue put a stop to the business. Whether that stop is temporary or permanent remains to be seen
