I'm not even sure I would want to see what the rear quarters look like.

You can't be serious.... How?

I guess the strut tower is what's keeping things together?

Titter what are you coating the bottom of your bugeye with? I've been trying to save mine as well. My towers are shot. Just redid the rear subframe and entire rear suspension. Going to do the front next week. How hard was it to replace the towers?

the towers were done by a pro who builds and repairs rally cars.

im going to Line-X the wheel wells for now. dunno if im actually going to get the underneath done. maybe one day if i were strip it and put it on a rotisserie. i'll try to get some pics up when i do more Por 15 on the inside.

I have had good previous experience using frame and rocker paint on floor pans but never been big on line x as I've heard it likes to hold moisture but can't say personally

if the line-x is holding water then it was either improperly applied or the surface was not properly prepped.

This is awesome. I really want to do the same to keep my bugeye intact but time is so hard to come by.

How'd you scrape all that black stuff off??

Leave it exposed for 9 years in the south and it flakes right off.
