Default Oil change questions

I got an oil change at the dealership recently. One thing that bothers me is the new oil looks very unlike any that has been done previously. It is very thin, leaves almost no residue when wiped out and the color is very light (almost water-like).

I'd appreciate any advise as I am not sure what to do. The oil level look fine. They told me they put full synthetic 5w30.

Thanks

If you're worrying about your oil change you should probably just do it yourself.

Even at a dealership they hire kids that don't care about anything and there's a good chance they're new and put in the wrong stuff, under-fill or even over-fill it.

Either way, everything sounds fine, I wouldn't worry about it and if you are then like I said you're way better off doing it yourself because then you can know for sure it was done properly.

5W-30 is pretty thin. So unless they put 0W-30 in it then it's probably 5W-30. But that's the risk you take when you trust the stealership to work on your vehicle. I'm sure it will be fine and to be honest, if the only means of servicing your vehicle is by taking it to the stealership, well you've got worse things to worry about than an oil change.
