Default Engine/clutch reinstall, release bearing not engaging

Pulled engine for a few things. Inspected and reinstalled exedy clutch and oem release bearing. Once engine and tranny were mated, I engaged clutch fork by hand. And it felt like the release brg engaged the pressure plate. Clutch felt good, but after 8 or ten actuations, the peddle fell to the floor. The release bearing disengaged the pressure plate. I tried this multiple times, sometimes engaging clutch 50 or 60 times with normal results, now the first engagement with engine running, it pops loose of the pressure plate. I'm going to pull the engine in the morning unless someone has an idea of whats going on. Thanks
