I think you mean "an ice ball broke my Subaru".

That sucks. At least you have a video for insurance?

What???
First off, since when do you need videos for insurance. 2nd, there's no way he can blame that vehicle for a chunk of ice flying across the road. Third, who's seriously going to claim that, the deductible is probably more. |

Yeah I guess that's why I put a question mark. Didn't realize there wasn't paint damage, I only saw where it hit. If it had chipped the paint on the hood and bumper at that corner it would have been expensive to repair. My hood and bumper are all chipped up and that's without being drilled by anything substantial. I should have gotten a cermaic coat up front in the beginning, oh well.

a few winters back I ran over a chunk that I thought was snow and it was an ice chunk.
It completely obliterated my under carriage plastic cover Had to replace the whole thing I hate that thing for oil changes but it is a great aero feature. |

You most likely could get it covered if you have full coverage, I am going to leave it as it isn't worth the price of a new grill to me haha

this thread must be bad luck...ran over something random...tore up driver side fender liner, nearly tore bumper off, cut underside of bumper...used some nice zip ties to get it back to close and bumper clipped back in thankfully...I don't run the undertray due to hassle so no worries there...

Don’t plan on fixing it actually, not worth the cost. I used to care a lot about how my car looked but it’s paid off and every month is saving me a lot of money. Still drives fine and gives it character haha.
Maybe one day I will. |
