No news is good news
We have them available on the website and some of our resellers have already placed stocking orders. If things ever slow down around here we'll post some more pics and update the page as well. Sorry for the lack of details and thanks for your support and patience! |

The routing is fairly simple as the valve has an NPT port on each side so you route that side to the corresponding valve cover breather port. Top port goes to A/S separator, catch can, or whatever else you have going on there. Right under Oil Fill Tubes... http://www.killerbmotorsport.com/ind.../PartsList.htm |

KillerB- what are your balls made of? hahaha
what kind of flow restriction can we expect under "normal" and "active" conditions? is this only kosher for motors with non-baffled crossover breather? is maintenance possible? |

I don't want to give away all my secrets, but they carbon based balls.
No flow restriction under 'normal' conditions, and when activated flow from the outside facing head vent (not balance tube) is shut off. Mind you the crossover tube is still connected, or should be, and the closed vent tube will flow no worse than if it were filled with oil This device is placed in the head vents, not the balance tube, and it can be used on either. If the engine was down for rebuild, it can be rinsed out with cleaner. The design is fairly simple and should not need to be removed and cleaned. There are not parts to replace, it's sealed for life. |

thanks for the info! im not trying to get you to give up all your secrets, just trying to feel out the fuel compatibility. maybe a lil nickel and chromium in your balls? lol
i get what you are saying about the balance tube, i was more wondering if the balance tube is a prerequisite for proper operation. one last q from me, what size are the inlet/outlet ports? Last edited by weedman; 12-03-2014 at 02:18 PM. |

It's about as inert as stainless, but it's not stainless.
Balance tube is not a requirements although I would highly recommend running a balance tube always. Ports on the sides are 3/8NPT and the top is M20. |

It's a straight M20, so it uses an o-ring seal.
I don't mind the questions |

How about creating a new rear access cover with integrated baffle to help the PCV crank case vent?

I know you don't want to hear this (again), but do the math on CCV flow VTA vs pulling 2" of vacuum. It's more than enough flow for what you should ever need.
If your PCV pressures are spiking in the higher gears under heavy load boost, you're deforming things and it's time to address those issues. Adding more PCV venting is not going to prevent the blowby pressure spike you're seeing. It will not correct for the poor ring seal under these conditions and it will not correct for the power loss under these conditions. Dyno plot a 1-5 pull. Log PCV pressure and chart it over power output, especially focusing on 5th gear. If what I'm saying here is correct, you know what your problem is. Verify by repeating the test while pulling vacuum. If I'm wrong, I'll design a solution. Fair enough? |
