Default Will 05 legacy gt transmission fit my 02 Impreza wrx

so basically been wanting to manual swap my car and found a good price swap will come with everything listed on the bottom but so basically my question is will everything work from Impreza wiring and mechanically and will I need an ecu, abs, and speedo?

Will come with-
Manual transmission
Matching rear diff
Drivetrain
Clutch,flywheel,pressure plate
Cv shafts(4)
Clutch slave cylinder
Shifter assembly
Pedal assembly

Default Will 05 legacy gt transmission fit my 02 Impreza wrx

I believe the speed was measured at the hub on the LGT unlike your WRX which was measured in the trans. You'll have to research ways of making that work. Otherwise you have all the other stuff I can think of to make it work.

You will want to check the length on the CV axles to make sure they are the same as the WRX. If they aren't then you should be able to use your rear axles and get male front axles from an 05 WRX.

Do you know if I will need ecu ?

You don't need an ECU for a trans swap. Just figure out the speed sensor and axle lengths
