Default COBB1 code

car:2005 sti, iag short block stage 2, stock heads/turbo, flex fuel map

drove normally today until i went to gas station to fill up with some e85. was at 40% before going to gas station (in process going back to e85 from 91). after filling up, turned on the car with code cobb1 (ethanol sensor voltage low input). (I have cobb flex fuel kit installed). Ethanol raw was 0%, ethanol final was reading the same 40% even after filling up so I know the flex fuel kit was not working properly. Went ahead to wash car at gas station (has under spray) and turned off the car during wash.
After wash, turned car on and I got codes:
cobb1 (ethanol sensor voltage low input)
p0011: Intake cam 1 RH postion timing over advanced or system perf
p0021: Intake cam 2 LH postion timing over advanced or system perf
p0171: system too lean (extreme fuel trims)

So i took the car home and checked over all the connections, which were all good. I reset the ecu via accessport and turned it on, ethanol reading were still the same as before. I turned it off went online to research on the codes and then came back outside to double check connections one more time and then turned on the car and now ethanol monitors are reading properly again, 65%.

My question, did the other codes come on only because of the flex fuel code? Or i should I be worried? The car idles fine and I did drive around the block at low rpms after flex fuel kit was working again, felt fine.
