My shop is currently hiring techs, looking for C or B level technicians. ASE's are a plus but not required.
The shop is STS Tire + Auto in Sicklerville, NJ. We are one of the few, if not, only shop in south Jersey that has an in-ground Hunter alignment rack as well, as MAJOR plus for working on lowered vehicles. Good shop, friendly atmosphere, filled with hard working, motivated people. If you're looking to join our team, please let me know or come on in and fill out a resume!! |

Looking for a job. Not ASE certified (sooo-what?). 3+ years experience in automotive repairs and body/refinishing. Can also weld. I'm meticulous at what I do and I understand sometimes that doesn't fit in when it comes to high traffic businesses.. but I guess that can also be a niche?
Oh yeah, I hate doing wiring or anything electrical. HAH I also freelance web/graphics design as well. Been doing that for 10+ yrs. |

Good luck, man! I separated from the Air Force in April and didn't get a job offer from something in my field (radar systems) until August. Had to move from LA to Syracuse for it, but a good job is a good job. Again, good luck!

Company Name: President Container (Always Hiring)
Location: 290 Ballard Rd. Middletown NY 10940 Union Facility - Teamsters Local 560. Positions Available: Forklift Operator Paper Roll Clamp Truck Operator Industrial Machine Operator Ink Technician Assistant Brief Description: Recently a TV show filmed a portion about our company on the show titled; "The Worlds Greatest" which aired on TV not to long ago. Here's another video which will give you an idea of the company. And yes, I am in the video - LOL, You can see my face and eyes up close pretending to look at product for the camera at exactly 3:49 and then me inspecting the product at 3:50- HAHA. The company has been around for about 75 years. In the 6 years I've been with the company it's grown tremendously. From upgrading equipment, the facility and expanding the facility and in addition adding new equipment often. The Owners truly invest a lot of time and money in to their company and it's amazing to be a part of this organization. In regards to wages, they begin at $12.00/Hour. After 90 Days, you are eligible for Union Entry and Receive "Half Rate Increase" which ranges from $12.50/Hour and $17.00/Hour depending on your position. Upon Union entry, you will receive full health benefits, vision and dental a long with a pension retirement plan. After a year of employment, you will receive "Full Rate" which will range from $14.50/Hour to $21.50/Hour, once again depending on your position. Overtime is ALWAYS Available. From a personal perspective stand point: The job is fairly simple, with very little to none manual labor. Nearly everything is automated. You work long days, 12 hour shifts but day shift is on a 2-3-2 Flex Schedule and Night shift is on a 4 on 4 off Flex Schedule. The job definitely takes a special skill set but nothing that can be taught/learned. For an example; Machine Operator's Starting Rate: $12.00/Hour Half Rate: $17.00/Hour (After 9o WORKING days) Full Rate: $21.50/Hour (After 1 year) Job Requirement: High School Diploma and/or GED - Not even mandated, tbh. Ability to stand on your feet for 12 hours a day. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to read a tape measure. Everything about the job requires basic math - Addition, Subtraction and Fractions with minimal Conversions of Fractions to Decimals and vice versa. Basic Computer knowledge is a plus. If anyone has any questions and/or concerns regarding the Job and it's positions, please do not hesitate to contact me. |

Moving office furniture Midtown
I need to move an office furniture (table/desk) sized
80" by 40" by 30" from NYC-Midtown to Queens-Woodside. I have dollies and need somebody to with a full-size SUV/van/pickup that will hold this item. I will be on site to help carry and load the item. This is a one-time-only job, could be done in an hour or two. Time is flexible but Mon-Fri midday, 11 am to 3 pm, is best. email [email protected] Apologies if this forum is meant for career/full-time jobs and not odd jobs, but I figure on an auto enthusiasts' board there would be somebody who wants to earn $ with their tow vehicle. |

Im looking to change up the job situation, i can email a resume if needed but i wont post it openly here. 15+ years working with cars, 10+ specifically with Subaru's, previous work history includes a bunch of internships and tech positions at multiple dealerships, some fiber optic tech work, and the last five years consists of being a professional desk jockey which is what im trying to avoid.
Ive spent the last three years running service crews for two race teams, Frog Racing Rally and McParland Motorsports both out of Massachusetts. Both are very successful race teams with great records of actually finishing races! Im looking for work in a fabrication environment as id like to improve on welding/fabrication skills, some kind of automotive product development like testing cars or parts, id also like to work in or around a race car environment maintaining cars etc etc. Ive looked around for open positions with major car/motorcycle manufacturers but it seems a lot of companies want or have already moved south. I need $50k/year, willing to travel about an hour or so from Nyack NY, please PM me if you or someone you know has something id be interested in. Update on 10/25/19, im still looking for other opportunities in car restoration/repair, performance oriented shops or race teams. Last edited by Bansheeboy11; 10-25-2019 at 10:01 AM. |
