They are a great dealer and as long as you are not abusive to your car, and as long as your parts are not at fault they will honor your warranty. But for those of you running 400 hp who blame the tranny for failing they will probably turn you away. I had tranny work done... shifting into 4th at high rpms would grind, with a stock car and now the top of the radiator seems to have sprung a small leak. Let them know about the parts I had and they saw there was no corelation and so they are going to replace under warranty as they should.

I love their service department. So far, it's been "no questions asked". Then again, my car is mostly stock. |

I am trying to get heritage subaru onto NASIOC, cuz they have been really great to me, and my car. There service advisors are great, and they always do a good job on my maintenance.
Anyone have any ideas? |

A friend of mine has a 2014 WRX hatch and within his first year of owning the car the only mod he had was summer wheels and tires. He purchased the vehicle from heritage in Owings mills, took the car there for service for the complimentary first oil change which he had the summer wheels and tires on the vehicle. This was the only Subaru dealership he took the vehicle to and that only one time. He does does every maintenance and oil change himself. Fast forward now and the cars got some miles and the issue with the rod bearing failure. He took it to Wilkins Subaru as I personally know the service manager the manager told me for some reason your car has been flagged as modified. This made the whole rod bearing being covered under warranty a big issue which is such a pain to deal with as its taking forever all before of heritage Subaru. So heritage decided to flag the car as modified when it only had wheels and tires on it and nothing else, How stupid! Especially when the vehicle was there for an oil change and they can look at the vehicle on the lift. So if you want to put any mods to your car even if its just new rims, Do not go to Heritage for service or they will flag your car!! same goes for the Catonsville location! i used the work there and they really suck! The best service for Subaru if you have to go to a dealer is Wilkins and Annapolis Subaru

I bought my WRX at Owings Mills and while they tried to convince me to replace the clutch (still doing fine 30k miles later) I didn't have any issues dealing with them. Harry Price moved over to Herb Gordon, maybe give them a try? Can't speak for Wilkins but I buy parts through Annapolis. |
