MI: Pristine 2007 Forester XT 5MT Limited w/JDM FSTi parts, 84K miles, $15,000.
More Pictures On the Way. Probably the cleanest less molested Forester XT 5-speed you will find.
Most Forester XTs this vintage are Sports with manual cloth seats, this is a unique Limited variant and the perfect combo: JDM Forester STi front looks with USDM XT Limited luxury (full leather interiors, power seats, heated windshield wiper de-icer/side mirrors, fog lights wiring harness). All work performed by me using factory manual and OEM hardware whenever available including down to Subaru branded transmission oil. The engine is out as I had IAG bored the block for 99.75mm forged pistons. Not installed in box forged pistons & bearings. I will sell the car with engine out, a perfect opportunity for a 6-speed swap. Ultra Gray Metallic (UGM) with 84K original miles. I have all the stock parts, the car is in museum condition, always garaged since 2007 and never exposed to MI winters. The car has never been repainted, no accidents, clean title. I bought the car in 2007, last driven in 2014 hence the 2015 registration on the plate. The theme of the build was to keep it clean and original with minor tastefully chosen modifications "specifically made for the Forester" like the APS CAI, Forester 3" Turbo-back exhaust by Millitek, Forester Whiteline swaybars, Swift Forester springs etc. Hours of research went into picking the best parts from UK, Japan and Australia. Engine: Kinawaga 20G w/matching Kinawaga up-pipe & equal length headers ceramic coated Tial Wastegate with $400 Tig welded dump tube and mini muffler (work of art) Perfect very low mileage 2007 STi headers that can replace the Kinuwaga headers (your choice). Turbo blanket (brand new) Wastegate upgraded tensioner (you can adjust tension) 1000cc DWs Walbro pump 2008 STi intercooler with stainless steel guard to protect fins Forester specific 3" Millitek TBE sourced from Uk STI group N engine and transmission mounts COBB Accessport V3 APS CAI (air fed thru the front lower functional vent) Suspension/Brakes: Forester specific Whiteline swaybars Legacy GT rear caliper rotor/bracket Kartboy undercarriage bolts Forester specific Swift springs (slight drop for performance while keeping utility Forester clearance) Transmission: Kartboy Forester short shifter 500 grams SS shifter knob (feels amazing to shift with this heavy knob) Body: OEM STi badges OEM Forester STi hood-scoop painted with OEM matching paint Original Forester STi bumper decals (sourced at dealership in Japan came with a template to respect factory location) Original Forester STi engine cover (sourced at dealership in Japan) Forester Sports front bumper and grill Forester Sports mudguard (all the Forester XT to Sports conversions I've seen lack the mudguards) Forester Sports STi front under spoiler (not shown) No hood chips thanks to a former 3M clearbra on hood and headlights (just removed since it was 13 years old and it was yellowing). Forester specific THULE roof rack Comes will all the stock parts including: Perfect TD04 turbo and original tiny TMIC. Complete stock exhaust system. BBS shown not included in the price, it comes with stock Forester wheels with absolutely no curb rash. Considering offers above $18,000 because the engine is out. Check Bring A Trailer for latest Forester XTs sold (range is $25k to $30k) and my car has been in a bubble sort of speak. The plan is to place it on Bring A Trailer but I wanted to offer it here first. I will also be contacting Subaru Corporate as they may be interested for their classic cars showroom due to the pristine condition. Pictures were taken 6/5/2020.

Car has never been in accident, no panels have been resprayed. Always garaged, no paint correction or polishing to preserve the original clear coat. Interior pictures coming up, like brand new interior as no one ever sat in the back. Car has been stored since 2014 .

Still for sale, it'd take a week to put together or less. I no longer have the proper tools, brand new pistons, bearings, injectors, etc, etc still in the box. I can help put it back together if you have the proper tools (ie need a bore dial gauge).
Kinugawa is not en Ebay turbo nor the header, they're quality parts I was a supplier to BorgWarner so I know about turbos. As said this is a no rust, no interior wear vehicle. |

Not parting out, would be sacrilege so please don't ask. Car is available. I can post additional pictures upon request.
Private messages answered. Car garaged all its life. All original paint, no panels repainted. Last edited by el Fox beSTIal; 04-24-2021 at 11:55 AM. |

Price dropped to $15,000 since brand new pistons, bearings are not assembled. The Block was machined by IAG to fit forged pistons but it still in the box from IAG.
I have all original stock parts. No accidents. No rust. No kids or adults sat ever in the back seat Has never been exposed to the sun only for drives. Headlights, taillights look brand new. I’m buying a 4C and need the covered parking spot. Car has been sitting in the garage since 2014, I need it gone. It’s painful seeing the car just sitting there and I no longer have the time and the passion to properly put it back together. This car could be sold for near $30k per BaT recent adds and in my view this is more pure with the 5speed and STi bits some I bought in Japan during my trips for work. I have the original turbo and TMIC. The upgraded turbo has only 2,000 miles made by KAMAT/Kinagawa a taiwanese reputable manufacturer that provides service turbos to MHI and others. KAMAT makes the turbos for Tomei or at least it did when I bought it. Every single detail on this build has been thought out to the point of replacing even a freaking nut with Subaru OEM. At the time I had a CHASE Visa card the generated a ton of points, bought everything from Jackie at Annapolis Subaru, a legend in the the Subaru Forester forum always providing the best pricing and dealing with the Subaru bucks. I’ll sell to the right buyer who plans to finish the build. It’s no longer about money is about fulfilling a vision I’ve had since 2007 when I bought the car after my Hawkeye 2007 STi was totaled by the CEO of the company I worked for. It was a traumatic experience so I decided to make it better by building a Forester which I never finished due to out of state moves and mental health issues. An FSTi (with the engine in) just went on BAT for $28,555. And they just listed another one. Seems like ppl are jazzed up for Subarus with the 22B that just sold so whoever buttons this thing up could flip it for a nice profit.

Time capsuled beautifully preserved bump. Tasteful mods example the TMIC is a huge ‘08-12 STi brand new no finds bent. This TMIC is way more efficient that the aftermarket chunks of aluminum.

PMs replied - no dogs no pets no kids - interior like brand new. Own the car since 2007.
Car always garaged, has not seen daylight since 2014. Headlights like new no yellowing and have not been polished. |

Excellent idea. I know some buyers (me) won't buy even an engine until I've driven it in a car. pigboat_2 has it right. Do a bit of wrenching and you'll see a much bigger field of interest.
