Default Stock Market: DOWN! DOWN! DOWN! thats the only direction its going...

The markets are down AGAIN another 219 points as of now.

http://money.cnn.com/

After yesterday's 300+ point drop, this thing just keeps on nose diving. Especially whenever guys like Bernanke step on stage on start talking.

http://money.cnn.com/2008/10/07/news...ex.htm?cnn=yes

This jackass just spoke, you can see the video on the cnn front page.
Wasnt the bailout supposed to restore confidence in the banking industry?

The fed is going to cut interest rates some more. Easy fix. right?

And one more little rant, i still dont understand why every news outlet keeps calling this bailout the "700 billion dollar bailout". Do they just ignore the fact that this bill was 850 billion, not 700 billion.

I am putting several thousand in tonight. I was waiting for the right time and for some funds to drop a bit further, and the time is now. Bargains galore!

Because the average American didn't know it changed, and they can relate to the 700 billion name. If cnn changes it, they might lose viewers because they are confused, or think cnn is saying it incorrectly.

I made 12% yesterday, bought some more today, likely won't make as much today but by next week I expect to have made 10-15% off what I bought today.

I don't do stocks, only mutual funds. These aren't for one day buy/sell jumps. Just huge deals based on the market's drop.

PRASX (T Rowe Price New Asia) was a beyond belief performer last year with YTD returns ~70%. It went from about $14 to $22 in 2007 where I sold a bunch in December because even I know when to take a gain. It's now below $10.

FJPNX (Fidelity Japan) hasn't been a great performer over the past few years, but at the same ~$9.50/sh, I am gonna pick a bunch up.

I fear nothing will work until all of the old management is phased out or changes their ways of conducting business (yeah right!).
