That whole swamp area (across from me) is all conservation land, so not sure how far back their line goes.

I’ll be interested to see how it turns out. I was actually surprised it wasn’t a total tear down.

I am currently looking for a place to move with my family. We are considering all the offers, I want to go to South Carolina. I wonder if it's so beautiful there, unlike North Carolina or not

May I suggest you move your family into a dumpster of dicks?

Man, that dumpster of dicks would go for like 800k around here. Maybe I too should move to South Carolina.

Wait, something’s been on the market 75 days? I didn’t realize that still happened.

There is a house on the other side of the woods/creek from me. Half of the year you can’t see the house at all, during winter you can see it through the trees. Couple of ladies were living there, I think they re-did the house as they were living in it. It hit the market last Saturday and within 2 hours they sent the notice of “best and last by noon tomorrow”. It’s crazy how fast things are going.

pressure tactic, and it sure works on this market

Only time Ive seen this fail is when the house had been on the market and later removed because no one would buy it the first time.

My wife is an agent and she isn’t “allowed” to say best and final till she has multiple written offers. There is zero.zero percent chance she would ask for best and final without at least 2 offers.

Over here, the initial posts in zillow etc already include date for final offers.
Usually post goes up on Friday night and Sunday night is the closing for offers. Some even go as far as Saturday evening.
Crazy I tells ya

Oh, they do that here as well, but that isn’t saying they have multiple offers. It’s just a timeframe that they will accept and review any offers. Nothing wrong with that.

A ways north of Seattle my cousins offered 75k over on a house and were out-bid by $100,000. On a simple single family house not a million dollar home. Nuts I tell ya!

lazy sellers I think.

house is really horribly staged and shot. my wife doesn't even want to go because she doesn't think the layout is worth it.

there was another house not too far from where this one is that was on the market for 180 days. they had scheduled an open house and the realtor didn't even show. so just a bunch of people hoping for an open house and no one there to open the house

although, this particular house, the owners are moving out, so they (I think) are more motivated to get the house sold.

Getting ready to put my house on the market next week. About 6-8 houses have sold in my neighborhood in the past 6 months and all but 1 went for over listed price. There’s a chance I sell my house for close to double what I paid for it 9 years ago but my new house I’m building is more.

Finished out the barn loft in the back as an office. Could might split the lot and sell it for 300k.

So... home inspection time? Has to be a reason it's been sitting in this market.

I am going to check this out later today. I think it is def overpriced for the size and location. According to the history it sold for like $65k back in 2016. I sure hope the local Idaho Housing Market Bubble bursts soon....Silly Californians

Latest Zestimate on my place is $244k. I bought 3 whole years ago for $188k.
If this was stocks I'd think about selling before it pops.

I’m definitely not up to speed on housing prices in ID, but that seems like they accidentally added a 1 on the front.
