Snell2020 helmet
Need to get a new helmet this year since mine is now too old. Last helmet I bought was from a friend and it never really fit right so I'm looking for a place in the Hudson Valley where I can try some on. Years ago I had a Bell open face helmet that fit pretty well, but that was back in 2000 when I bought it. Any recommendations on where to go somewhat locally? Don't mind taking a drive if there's a shop that stocks several models.

Either search for a local cycle gear/revzilla or pop into a local motorcycle dealership as they have helmets for sale. Not from the area but that would be my first thought, any of the above places would have staff to help fit you properly.

Isn't really one in the area for Bell motorcycle helmets either. I'd have to drive about 45 min and if I have to go that kind of distance I'd rather it be for their racing helmets to make sure it's the proper fit. There's an Arai dealers nearby but they are a bit out of my price range. Looking more in the $300 range. |
