I'm not sure it fits the 15, but I'm absolutely in love with the greddy rs race catback!

Recently I purchased an AWE track back exhaust for my 2017 wrx. Love the sound so far, it gets loud when I want it too and it’s fairly quiet when I’m just cruising. I had it installed by a reputable shop in my area and they noted that it came with some missing clamps. They also said that the quality is lacking from what they’ve seen in years past. Wondering if anyone else experienced something similar?

I'm considering an HKS Legamax Premium catback for my 2018 WRX. It would be bolted up to my stock J-pipe for now, but likely a Cobb catted J in the future. I want a setup that is drone free and quiet for daily driving, while still offering an improvement in sound and tone over stock when I give it the beans.
After tons of searching I've found almost nothing for videos and user reviews of the Legamax on a WRX. Anyone with first-hand experience that could chime in? I am also open to suggestions for other systems that meet my requirements. Q300 checks most of the boxes, but I hate the look of its giant mufflers and tips. I don't see much of this exhaust, really at all to be honest. I am a fan of single exit's. I ran the N1 single exit for a while, but came to the conclusion I wanted something more quiet.
Invidia q300 single exit, with kartboy hangers and fujitsubo left-side cutout delete. Fits just right -D Last edited by Doppio; 03-24-2021 at 08:18 PM. Reason: Forgot about the hangers yo. |

Honestly, I am not sure. I'd assume so, given it's a full 3inch back and doesn't fork into the two mufflers of the quad tip? Either way, it unlocks the rumble whilst being slightly louder than stock. I love it. -D |

How's the sound of the S type? Any drone? I'm thinking of getting one because 4wheelonline is willing to give me a nice discount.

I ran a Cobb resonated J-pipe with the stock catback for about 6 months. Never really cared for the tone... it sounded harsh, unrefined, and kind of tinny/hollow. Great pops and turbo noises though.
Decided to try something new and threw on a new Cobb catback a few weeks ago. Absolutely beautiful piece, easy to install, perfect fitment. The tone is much deeper and mellower... it sounds incredibly smooth compared to the stock catback. There is a pronounced bassy note in the cabin around town and some slight highway drone, but it is quite civilized overall. With that said, the exhaust is much more noticeable in the car at all RPMs and driving conditions. Interestingly, the Cobb system seems to muffle the turbo noises and pops more than the stock system did. No significant gains based on Virtual Dyno or butt dyno. I didn't want anything obnoxious, and I am happy with the Cobb turboback so far. You can tell that it's there, but your neighbors won't hate you and your wife's ears won't bleed on long road trips. I put together a few crappy cell phone video clips of both setups. I hope this is helpful to anyone who is exhaust shopping. |

Anyone have the Subispeed exhausts with 4" or 5" mufflers on their WRX? They seem like they're carbon copies of the Nameless exhaust?
