Resources and quality parts readily available to all of you is not as cost friendly to us down here at the Tip of Africa. So we always tend to make things work by considering alternatives. I'm hoping your knowledge and experience can assist me in managing and maintaining by baby.

Default 2003 ej20 not starting

I have a 2003 wrx ej20 2.0 that cranks but won’t start. Took motor out to do the head gaskets and replaced some sensors and some other maintenance on it. Put the car all back together and now it’s not starting. Cranks over great but just seems like it’s not getting spark. It’s getting fuel I pulled the plugs and they was soaked. Changed out the coil packs with oem. It try’s to hit but just doesn’t fire up. I have a video of it cranking over

[quote=SubaruGoob;37813381]So i have a 1998 OBS wagon, 5 spd, and it has 168k on it.

If you can loosen the bell housing enough to back the transmission off to see the clutch plate you’ll be able to tell if it’s backwards from the teeth.

Default 2017 Impreza sport manual oil consumption issues.

We still have our 1997 Subaru-Isuzu Trooper and that is why we bought the 2017 Impreza sports manual vehicle

However 2300 miles after synthetic oil change at dealer for the 2017 Impreza red light came on and there was only 1 1/4 quarts of oil in the engine.

This unfortunately is a reoccurring event.

Need to find the oil consumption form to complete to find out the best course of action.

Thank you for your guidance and help.

I have also moved all the threads that were in the two sub-forums back into this main forum.

Any threads that were in the '93-'01 forum were automatically assigned the proper prefix of ('93-'01). The threads in the other sub-forum could not be automatically assigned so they were just moved.

If one of those threads is you you should be able to edit the thread information and add a prefix, otherwise you can contact a moderator or myself and we'll be happy to add the proper prefix to your thread.

About using prefixes, they are now manadatory in this forum, so if you want to post a new thread in here you MUST chose the proper prefix. They are simply arranged by model year, so pick the right one. We've broken them down by MY/facelift, not just model code, since that wasn't specific enough.

The biggest upside to prefixes is that you can use them when using the search function to make your results significantly more accurate.

Hey ya'll,

Just real quick, will a 2011 impreza sedan motor fit in a 2009 impreza sedan?

I was wondering if you guys knew what other bumpers from other Subaru cars fit on my 2013 Impreza sedan premium.... I like the bumper on the 2016 Impreza sport hatchback... but idk if it would fit. Let me know any other bumpers that would fit SUBARU BUMPERS ONLY..please

That a lot of miles you should ask if you can test drive and see how it feels

Hello, I need help. I'm currently looking into buying an Impreza. I have found two, one is a 2002 Impreza wrx and the other is a standard 2007 Impreza. I wanted the opinion of those who know more than me about this car. Which one is more reliable, faster, and will be more fun to drive.
