Default 2020 STi with 19x9.5 +35 wheels

Hi,

Iím thinking of getting 19x9.5 +35 wheels for my STi because I love the ďpokeĒ look of the wider wheels without using spacers.

If anyone has this setup, I was wondering if these wheels would clear the STiís six-piston front calipers with the wider wheel width and +35 offset?

Would it degrade performance and handling with the wider wheels?

Also, will the standard 245/35 19Ē Yokohama tires fit or would I need 255 or 275 tires?

You can't know whether the wheels clear based only on width and offset. The spoke design dictates caliper clearance. Some wheels will fit. Others will not.

No.

Those will be pretty stretched on a 9.5" wheel, and you'll definitely be exposing the outer lip to damage from curbs and road debris. But the tires will fit on.

We run a 265/30R19 on our car using a +40 wheel, but I'm afraid they'll run into the fenders at +35. A 275 would make that problem worse. I'd do a 255 at the widest given your low +35 offset.

265/30R19 on 19x9.5" +40 Rota Kestrel:

Thanks for the reply.

Will a set of XXR 527 or 530 19 x 8.75 +35 or +38 wheels clear the STiís six piston calipers?

Can I use the stock Yokohama tires on the XXR wheels?

Also, I plan to lower my car about an inch or and inch and a half on Tein coilovers, so would I need to roll my fenders if I went with the XXR wheels?
