Default New headgasket, quick question.

I just did the headgaskets on my engine rebuild. I followed some good videos to make sure I did everything right, cleaned my surfaces, used acetone, etc.

My concern is that when I lubed my head bolt threads and put them down in, after tightening the heads down per the factory manual, I see some of the oil that was on the threads seeped out the headgasket to the outside of the motor.

To me, the issue is that means some of this oil is on the gasket mating surfaces. Could this bite me in the ass later? I used fel pro MLS gaskets, 20w50 synthetic as the thread lube.

You should be fine with that little bit of oil. Yes, dry is best.
