FOR SALE 03 WR Blue
WRX SEDAN... PM ME!

Talking Attn: Everyone's Input Needed! (NW Vendors PLEASE look too!)

Ok you all know about my event in Tacoma on Aug 30th right?? BBQ Show and shine...

Well thus far I have been able to contact The local Audi club, The NW DSM club and of coarse the Local Subaru clubs, I wanted to keep this event limited to the same kind of cars (somewhat) kind of a "Turbo/AWD" theme with the NA and FWD Subaru, Audi, and DSM cars also MORE THAN welcome! It is looking pretty good as far as attendance! SOooo Now I need some help!

I would like to know WHO you buy stuff from!

I want to contact vendors we ALL use already to ask for some prize donations! This will ultimately help with attendance as well!

The prizes will be both for the "show and shine" AND for general drawings through out the day!

So what are the names of the vendors/shops/dealerships you frequent both locally and on the web?

Either post them here or email them to me please!!

Thanks for the help!

** since there may be an "issue" with posting the name of a NON-NASIOC approved vendor please email those to me, thanks!

Question

Of the 28 people that have viewed this so far, Nobody has ever bought anything from a vendor or gone to a shop?? I find this hard to believe!

I know the Vendors who want all of our business will be posting here with their support

Come on folks! Lets leave some input!

Garret, of course... http://www.worldoneperformance.com

Scott at TheWRXStore.com is pretty cool

SubyDude.com rules

I know Gruppe-S has treated a number of people locally well

Can't pass up J-Spectuning.com either

Oh and don't forget Rallispec.com across the country

Z1 Performance is great as well http://www.z1auto.com/

I've heard a lot of good things about Nino's - http://www.ninosautoaccessories.com

And of course Jamie at AllSubaru.com

How's that, Jeff?

Thanks for the input guys! I have noted all of them and will be putting together a formal proposal/request to send to all of them

keep the suggestions coming!

As well as "Vendors" I would also like some Manufacturer or distributor names so I can contact them at a "manufacturer" level as well! I have been in touch with Turbo XS and will be contacting Vishnu as well as some of the other "importers" for prodrive, STi and a few others! So just let me know who you would like to see prizes from! I am going to contact Tire rack, and Discount tire as well as Les Schwab, Rota Wheels, Toyo tires, and a few others to try and set up a free set of tires and maybe a set of wheels as well!

Sooooo like I said, keep the suggestions coming!!

You'd be surprised how willing these places are to give some pretty big ticket items to event organizers for some good exposure and publicity!

It's getting closer to "RSVP time" so I will be setting up a separate email account to handle the RSVPs... I will be cutting the list off at 115 RSVPs so be sure to let me know you want to go but don't reserve a spot unless you are 80% (or better) sure you can make it! I have room to comfortably fit about 90-100 cars so I have factored in a few extra RSVPs for cancellations and no shows

I would definitely like to see more scoobies there than any other car so make us proud and show up!

Might want to try to contact Perrin as well since they are semi-local(Portland) and make stuff for both the Impreza and the EVO(assuming you are including the EVO in with the other DSMs).

Every time I hear 'Ronal' I think of the red miata I saw with Ronal Bears and it brings a tear to my eye (from laughing)
