Any ATV/Quad riders here??
Just wondering if any local scic people ride quads or go to like Azusa, Gorman, etc. Me and my buddy just picked up some Suzuki LTZ400's this week, and a grip more of our friends are getting into it.
Just wondering if you guys know of any local shops other then Bert's to pick up gear for cheap, or have any reviews on good places to ride. Planning to hit up Pismo, Gorman, Azusa, and a few more places within the coming months. jarel

Just got back from Pismo this past weekend. If you're up for riding, pm me, I'm most likely going to be out again on Sunday. Not sure where though...open for suggestions.

For gear, gotta do the drive and check out Chaparral off 215, and every fall they have a huge parking lot sale, don't miss it, killer deals... jersey for $15, pants for $25...
normally i hit up El Mirage, Lucern valley, Silverwood lake (if it's open). i don't do azuza, it's a freaking zoo on a weekend afternoon.... but if you do, don't forget to ask the ranger at the OHV area for map and info and gate lock combination for the trail that takes you to highway 2 (can't remember the name of the trail) but its a 20ish mile single lane fireroad that takes you to angeles crest highway, it's free, there's a gate w/lock, not many people know about it, and open to all vehicles, (now i think about it i should take my suby up there...) you park on the left side of the road pass the OHV area and stage there... make sure you got full tank of gas... i've got a 2 stroke 1998 yamaha blaster rejetted fmf pipes, right on par with a stock suzuki lt400. good luck have fun... |

cool, thanks for the info guys. Our buddy lives right down from Azusa, so as beginners, we are gonna try it out and just learn the ropes.
Other then Chapparal....are there any other local shops, maybe in like Simi or out there. Thanks guys. |
