I'm enjoying Raised By Wolves. Watched all 7 episodes so far.

There are some recap videos on HBO for each episode if that helps.

Class Action Park, aka Traction Park. That was a pretty solid documentary. The opening and first 30ish minutes where the whole premise was still being laid out - yay, it's a crazy park with nutso rides! - was incredibly funny, esp. the one guy's description of Cannonball Falls. I was there once in the summer of '90 and it was essentially exactly as advertised. 'Roided out NJ / NY / Philly dudes, thots, drugs, booze, and oh yeah, a huge, uncontrolled, very dangerous waterpark. It's hard to get a sense of how big the place was from the doc, it was not small and took a while to get around. Absolutely a product of the times, and a great watch for nostalgic reasons.

I'm 2/3s thru and I think I get enough of an idea, especially because it seems like every 5 minutes they are describing some different massive attraction.

Compare this to the water park by my house growing up that had a wave pool, lazy river, and 3 different sets of water slides.

I watched Action Park and I swear I've seen it before. How is this new? Or did someone make a very similar documentary?

They took video from the 2017 documentary. Added irrelevant comedians and added some other people’s interviews

I finally finished Raised by Wolves. It was interesting and has a lot going for it at the end of the season finale. Now it's time to wait one to two years for the next season.

That was an ending that if I were to give spoilers, people would assume I'm trying to keep them from watching it.

I finally finished raised by wolves. It's a snoozer but actually has a decent story if you can stay with it. I'm curious to know what the purpose of the holes and lava is. It looks like Sol (I'm thinking the name is just generic) is luring people to Kepler across time and space for its own feeding and breeding.

Lovecraft Country has been a wild ride. Looking forward to the finale next week.

Raised by Wolves finale was ****, IMO. Total let down from a frankly very interesting buildup.

Meh, I kept falling asleep watching it after ep1, all the way to the end. But I did like the story once I saw where it went. It was never about survival.

It was very Lovecraftian, more so than lovecraft country.

The whole mithraic mythology, and technology, was fed to them by a hungry creature from another world.

Raised by Wolves does not have anything to do with being raised by an android. Not sure why they emphasized motherhood. Their society was raised by an aliens to spacefaring so they could make the trip to its feeding ground, as well as devastate their own world to make people want to flee.

I thought it was decent, but seems like they could have done more with it. It's like the TV version of Prometheus, well maybe not quite as disappointing as Prometheus.

I enjoyed Raised by Wolves. Definitely weird and fantastical, but overall I liked it and am in for another season.

Lovecraft Country has been great IMO. It took me a couple episodes to make sense of things, but now I really dig it. Episode 7 with Jaime Chung was HOT!

This last episode was great too. It was cool to see another point of view during the Tulsa massacre. The aha! moment was cool too. I am going to by this book and read it when the season ends next Sunday.

Equal to or more so...same tropes, same result

Prometheus is bad because it seems like they are retconning Aliens. Noone likes that

https://tvline.com/2020/11/18/wonder...premiere-date/

Your holiday gifts just got wrapped up with a golden Lasso of Truth.

Warner Bros. Pictures will release Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max on Dec. 25, the same day it is released in American theaters, the streaming video site announced Wednesday.

In a shift made because of the global coronavirus pandemic, the sequel to the wildly popular 2017 DC Comics movie will be available to stream at home on Christmas Day. Wonder Woman 1984***8216;s theatrical release, which originally was slated to take place on June 5, already has been postponed several times.

The film will be available for a month on HBO Max in the United States at no additional cost to subscribers.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set during the Cold War and stars Gal Godot in the title role. Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live), and Chris Pine (the Star Trek films) co-star. Patty Jenkins, who helmed 2017's Wonder Woman, directs.

Other films that went straight to streaming this year, or were released in limited theaters alongside their streaming debut, include Palm Springs and Happiest Season on Hulu; Mulan, Hamilton, Black Beauty and Soul on Disney+; Greyhound on Apple TV+; and The Witches on HBO Max.

This is a weird move. How are they making money on it to the at-home viewers?

In other Max news, Conan O'Brien has announced that he is leaving TBS, at the end of his contract in June, to join the HBO family.

He won't be doing late night, as he said he's "retiring" from that gig but will be doing a "variety" of programming for Max.

So it'll be nothing but anti-trump "variety" programming. Conan has lost his edge.

I'm guessing they're trying the best way to cut their losses cuz of Rona.

Undoing - Kidman brings the acting chops big time, and the rest of the crew are outstanding, even Hugh Grant is bearable (I normally find him trying to play it to cutesy). I think I even spotted the next discount Benicio Del Toro. It's one of those shows that should be binge watched though - to get a feel of the characters and keep that flow going, fresh in the mind, imo. I should of waited till season ended.

When has he even done anything remotely anti-orange imbecile on TV?

Well...I'm not a current subscriber and I'm thinking I'm going to subscribe for a month (or maybe just the free trial if there is one ) to watch this...would still be the cheapest way to do it, plus I would get to explore the rest of the programming.

I'm just ludicrous when it comes to streaming though. I still carry Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and then I have Cable too. Its too much, but different family members use different services.
