Crazy that this is just Cleveland's 8th win in Pittsburgh... in the last half century

The legend of Taylor Heinicke continues to grow:

Team has announced that an MRI confirmed he suffered an AC joint separation on that diving TD play in the third quarter.

Yeah, not surprised. I figured it was a partial shoulder separation or cracked clavicle.
Whether WFT does it or or someone else, he made himself a decent paycheck for a few years on Saturday night.

Yep, I was saying the same. After only losing by 2 points on the road with backups, they can easily lose by 10 or more at home with starters.

I think it's just Ben's time - they need to give him the Polamalu treatment here. His 2021 salary is $19M, but his cap hit is $41M. If he retires, it's $22M in dead money. His decline this year was gradual at first, them more accelerated near the end of the season. I would anticipate it becomes exponentially greater through 2021 if he plays.

Peyton had a similar drop off after the neck issue. Threw a boat load of touchdowns one year, the next year...not so much. Sad to see some of these stalwarts go because they have been around for seemingly ever (if you count the early 2000's forever).

I mean Ben is still Ben. The big difference this year is that

1. His targets have been dropping catches
2. The defense isn't making up for his mistakes

So his ****ups are more magnified.

Crazy to think that we could see Big Ben, Philip Rivers and Brees all be done this year...while Brady is throwing the ball like he is 23 not 43...

Those are minor in comparison to:
1. They have the worst running game in the NFL
2. He has zero touch on the deep ball. zero.

At this point in his career, he can be productive if he's throwing it 20-30x / game. The offense they've been trying to run with him is just silly

Rivers can still throw, that's not been the problem IMHO.

Yeah..his last year with the Chargers he made a lot, a lot, a lot of bad throws...especially at the end of games. Didn't get to see him too much this year but his numbers last year were 23TD / 20 INT and this year 24/11...that is not great ratios...

Yeah there were quite a few passes that sailed way over his receivers' heads last night. The deep ball just isn't there anymore. 20 yards are less he's pretty solid, anything more than that is kinda suspect. If he wants to keep playing they should pick up a stud workhorse RB and play dink and dunk.

Sucks for Pederson but he'll be alright and will land another job easily if he wants one. Felt like they didn't give him much to work with TBH. A lot of their position groups had me thinking "who da **** is that guy? over the past few years, their roster just has not been that strong overall and they're in a pretty bad spot cap-wise.

Pederson won a SB three years ago, he'll be a NFL HC again before this time next week
