It's a pretty game, I'll give it that. A showcase of the magic that happens when millions upon millions of dollars are thrown at (probably) a million man-hours of developer's work.

Shame about all the boring gameplay, though.

Jammy's indifference toward this game truly is baffling. It is arguably the best story ever told in a game. It's a masterpiece.

I have no real qualms with the story, apart from a general disdain of westerns. My gripe with the game was that I just did not find it fun. The very detail that made the game so pretty, also made the gameplay dull and clucky.

It's a game for sophisticated adults. As we age, we learn to appreciate the story as well as the gameplay. This is why it isn't popular with the under 18 demographic.

I don't know what the **** I'm talking about. I just liked the pretty scenes and nice music. Oh, and the gore. I could spend hours hogtying people and turning their heads into a puddle with my sawed-off.

I mean, I never said I hated it. I liked it enough to buy it twice (if not play it twice...because, boring). I'll agree, its a masterpiece of game building.

I find the game wonderful for the same reason I can sit in the woods staring at a campfire for 6 hours and not get bored.

The single player campaign was a masterpiece in storying telling. I cried at the end. RDR2 online is an abhorrence that should never have existed.

RDR2O is free until May on PS4. I started playing it with a friend and it seems to be fine for shooting fish, kicking deer, accidental stabbings, and blindfolded trust exercises.

I tried to get wasted in game online and it didn’t work. That was disappointing.

No patch as of yet. Your new TV will have an impact though!

But when they DO patch it will definitely look just as good as it did on launch day on Xbox One X. In 2018.

I would've totally gotten one of those if I didn't already have the GTA V version.

I just bought it a few weeks ago. I'm always late to the party and not much of a gamer, in fact up until now the only game I've ever played on my 5 year old Xbox One is Forza.

My wife has been unimpressed with my new 3am bed time and lack of productivity when I'm home. This game is fantastic.

"But babe, I had to play some dominos after I got a new haircut and a new outfit with my treasure hunt money. I also had to earn back some honor by doing chores around camp and my guns needed cleaning!"

True story I got burned out and never finished the game because I was just trying to grind out all the damn hides / skins. I can't even remember what happens except I used to go into a town, shoot a bunch of people, try to escape and let my "wanted level" go down.
