The only thing I've really watched on Prime is The Grand Tour and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Quite a few shows I want to start though.

But since this still doesn't cover Network/Cable TV, both thread should be merged into an all encompassing thread. "Netflix/Amazon Prime/Network/Cable/Etc Recommendations" Maybe? Why can't we be inclusive!?!?!? Everything should be recognized, accommodated and appreciated!!!!!!!!

What We Do in the Shadows. 3 vampires living in a house during modern time shot as a mockumentary. It's the same type of comedy as Short Poppies or IT Crowd.

The Oklahoma City Federal Building didn't blow as bad as that show did.

I refuse to participate in this redundant thread.

in all seriousness, I think they should just make the Netflix thread a "streaming thread" that covers Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc....most people have at least two of the three.

It was not for me.

I was already irritated that I was paying for a service that still had ads, more irritated that it would just randomly pop them in wherever rather than at reasonable pauses in story line or between scenes, and totally infuriated that half the time the app would crash when trying to reload the show while returning from commercial.

It was watchable.

Wrapped up a little too neatly for my liking and I would have liked to see more smaller cons to go along with the long con.

Default Amazon Prime streaming thread (<-- Here it is, Kai!)

Netflix streaming works better on lower bandwidth than Amazon prime. Same evening during peak viewing hours, Prime looked horrible, and Netflix was decent with no interruptions.

Bosch.
Watch it.

I just wish Amazon's interface was as good as Netflix's, they need to support two profiles per account, and do a better job tracking what you have watched in the entire series, not just the season.

what were you streaming on? Im using Xbone and it's as smooth as Netflix and Amazon. Granted I do remember there being some problems when the app was first launched on the One. As for ad placement, at least on the shows I watch, the ads come in pretty much where you'd expect them to on live TV. Dont use the app enough to know whether it's just those couple shows.

yep. Before our ISP did their upgrades in my area a couple weeks ago, I was at 9down/1up DSL, and there were two or three times that Amazon would either drop quality or say there wasnt enough bandwidth or whatever, while Netflix would stream in HD with no hiccups.
