I wish that was the case. They stay on for far too long once they sense motion.

Couldn't agree more. Don't let them push you around.

Totally different gripe.... every single time I see a 2016+ Toyota Tacoma, I regret getting another Crosstrek. I really wish I got a Taco. The Crosstrek is great, but I still wish it was a Tacoma. Maybe I just need some 15" Method Rally wheels and some knobby Grabber AT2s.

(...and I am still leaving early at 3PM)

Been seeing a lot of good gameplay videos of Horizon Zero Dawn. Start looking for local stores with the PC version. Find out PS4 exclusive.

My co-worker got one a few weeks ago. I've been in it a couple of times. Its pretty nice. However somehow he didn't get climate control.

My Crosstrek doesn't have digital climate control either (but supposedly has automatic climate control). It has eight fan speeds, which are really just two: whisper quiet or wind tunnel loud. The automatic temperature setting has numbers that simulate temperatures, but those it really just has two temp settings are Polar Vortex and Hell Fires.

I'm really debating getting a Taco to replace my Legacy. Can't do the crosstrek when it has less power than the car it's replacing and less cargo room

this is why "automatic" climate control sucks donkey balls for the most part. Just give me back my red/blue slider

Sounds like they used the HVAC out of my old Corolla.

The one in my STI and my old 06 worked fine. Always kept the perfect temperature. I'd only have to adjust them if I was wearing my coat in the car I might crank it down a couple of degrees. I don't touch it in the summer.

yeah, I love climate control. Very disappointed it wasn't available in the Sport level of the new Impreza. My wife's Outback has it and it's actually not very good in there, though. But all my previous cars that have had it, it's been awesome.

Skiing yesterday, in the back country, got lazy, dug in a ski and wrecked through a tree. I was fine then, and note sure what party of my body took out the 1.5" branch, but my shoulder is hurting the last few hours.

ooof, that sucks. years ago I hit a tree at speed. was on a pretty steep downhill, the snow was a bit chattery...my downhill ski popped off and i went into a slide and plowed into a tree. I wasn't going slow either. Fortunately i got out with a banged up hip and strained ab muscles or something....ski patrol had to come get me...

still got BK on the way home after a few hours at the hospital

There isn't an override button on the sense near the door?

The system in my Corolla works perfectly, you're doing it wrong.

It works great in my BMW.
I do miss that from my old BMW.
I originally thought it was dumb. Then, once I figured it out, thought it was the best thing ever.

Subaru doesnt know how full auto hvac works.

Have they figured out how to make cruise control work yet?

When I set the cruise to 75 in this car I can be pretty well assured that I'm going to traveling at 75mph. One time I set the cruise on my WRX at 3 over and didn't realize that that wasn't what I was doing until the trooper handed me a ticket for 20 over.
Full disclosure - We had driven into an area where the limit reduced by 5mph for some reason and I hadn't noticed but still, a nearly 15mph overrun on a downhill...

2016 Outback 3.6R HVAC is perfect, in my opinion. I rarely move it from 74 degrees.

Here too. It worked well in the Fiat too. In the Forester, it will even wait until the engine is warm before turning up the fan.
