You don't church up Boone's Farm with ice or by using a cheap knockoff cup.

The two mcmuffins for $3.33 is a much better deal. Add a soda to that and it's still cheaper than the combo and more filling.

When I absolutely, positively, need to get some breakfast on the go, MacDaddy's is the place, it's the only thing I ever eat from there.

Nothing like a soda with breakfast.

Those 2 for $3.33 ones don't have egg.

I have a love/hate with the hashbrown, when its cooked right its great which is never but there is always hope. I have been diggin the McGriddles lately but those are too steep as well.

They do here, just had it a few days ago.

Related gripe is when you have to give a three hour bike tour but you realize you don't have anything to eat in the house.

TIL OT is full of cheapskates....velveeta shells, Boones Farm, complaining about McDs prices, and wanting a refund for a mac and cheese cook off.

Except me. I am just a poor piece of ****.

That's why I have like 8 fast food apps on my phone. I try my best to never pay full price for it.

In all seriousness, fast food isn't the value it used to be. I don't eat fast food often, but when I do its usually Wendys. I get a medium #2 with a 6pc nugget and I think it's 8 or 9 bucks. I can go to one of the local mexican joints and eat for less.

Ya same here. There are plenty of local places and small regional chains that have higher quality food for a very small price difference. Some of them take a long ass time to get your food if you don't order ahead though.

That's kind of my point.

Hell, the local casino does a $3.99 steak and eggs breakfast, granted they are in the business of taking your money elsewhere.

There's a little hole in the wall place around here that does pretty much an entire dinner plate of breakfast for $5.95. It's very good. They make it 10 ft from you right behind the counter, so it's on your table pretty much as soon as it's plated.

No kidding. We stopped for burgers Friday evening because we had two errands to run, and figured we wouldn't make it home to cook and feed our toddler before she imploded. Kid's meal and two regular combos came out to be almost $30! I wouldn't care so much about the price if we weren't getting **** quality food.

We usually don't eat fast food that much, and that's the exact reason why.

Wendy's has better tasting garbage food than McD's and both are by my usual nightly hangout spot. ~$20 for TWO meals?!

yep, at the local Mexican place I can get 3 grilled chicken soft tacos - lettuce, cheese, tomatoes & some hot sauce for $6.50. Comes with free freshly baked chips and salsa. And other than the cheese - not a bad meal compared to processed fast food.

And from what I can tell, the chicken seems to be real chicken...

Gotta skip the add-ons and just go with onion and cilantro.

I was thinking this.. but the vast majority of mexican places don't do lettuce. So it made me immediately imagine one of those gringo-ized places that serves tacos in a hard shell.

My daughter just got her permit. One of the parents in the class actually asked about those. The teacher suggested against it.
