Yeah **** that race. I can usually stick it through most races even if they're difficult but that one is just ridiculous.

I would not have been able to finish that course were it not for the ability to set my triggers to 1/2 and 1/4 throttle and use taller sticks on the elite controller.

Pretty sure we all had a harder time than another at various points. That first set of K rails before the 6 inch wide half pipe was my kryptonite. That was the most aggravating thing I've experienced in the game as a whole, outside of the dreaded corkscrew (which I just cant do at all).

My first new race in a long while, but I'm pretty happy with it.

And I still think part of the problem is the bike he locks you into. The BF400 might've made that last part in one shot. |

I know there was talk when it dropped in 2019, but it really went nowhere as most fellas weren't willing to buy it.
Wreckfest is on Gamepass now if there were enough fellas interested in playing. I think there's potential for some decent fella derpage ... and by that, i mean Ripper winning while the rest of us eat paste |

I only just realized Dolmen went out of character with his race. 8 years of bumpy races and he suddenly makes a track intentionally meant to smooth out bumps on actual map roads with props. Lamps and power lines guarded off and so on. The bumpy bastard broke bad.
Strong pun title/description/car choice name as well. |

Considering I don’t have much time to play, and play with you guys a solid two hours a week now, going back to regular lobbies it’s starting to feel weird

Am I remembering incorrectly or did you leave during the race under the map? I thought you may have been done with it and noped out.
Aren't regular lobbies still just oppressors flying around griefiing everyone and mass suicides to protect kill to death ratio? The fellas are to old and cranky to play that kind of GTA. We just wanna race a bit and shoot each other in last team standing jobs. |

It was. I assume it still is.
I signed into a random lobby once and was watching the most bizarre fight/non fight at the beach. Maybe 10 people sniping one another. They would place sticky bombs at their feet and explode it if they took damage. Either that or they would RPG themselves before they took a death. I watched for half an hour in passive as these people played a game of offing themselves. Then if someone in a jet/chopper came by they'd all go passive or warp to their apartments only to return to the game of offing themselves again. This was years ago. After poking around online I realized this was essentially what gta online is to most people. |

I'm thinking about making a few more similar single-model races soon, probably turning contact and customs off though. Just to have a reason to use some of the cool cars that are no where near competitive and never get used. |

Please do. Any race that isn't a Kai race is welcomed.
And yeah I wish players/playlist hosts could restrict vehicles on jobs they didn't create. I could then shut down pariah's and kreigers every once in a while. |

I don't find the public lobbies nearly as toxic as they used to be but you still regularly end up with the one guy in a Lazer or on an Oppressor that just flies around and kills people.
A reminder to anyone that is looking to get things done and make money with activities that can only be done in a public lobby, use the NAT test to clear out the room and work in peace. Just hit the home button, go to settings. Under Network settings, do a NAT test. This will take a minute or so, but when it's done and you back out of it, your lobby will have been emptied. People still seem to be able to join you if they want to, but generally pubbies won't be stuck in your room with you. This is how I do all of my sell missions unmolested and also my heist set ups. |
