xmember, your GMT400 is easier. Drill new holes in frame and push xmember back. TC/flexplate, maybe. I had a 4l80e in my 93 truck from the factory with the same 350 TBI. I'm thinking a stock 80e might just bolt up for you. I had to do all that because of LS engine differences. If yours is a 4x4, you need a diff size input in the xfer case to fit the larger diameter output of the 80e.

'03 325i touring (wagon).
As it sat last summer. Bought this time last year and have been taking care of minor things to make it more up to date, like putting in a Dynavin N6 head unit/nav, and cleaned up for DD duties, replaced front seats burned up in it's former life in the AZ sun and replaced grilles and headlight lenses putting in some angel eyes while I was there. Next up, wheels and tires and an M Tech II body kit to make it look like less of a grocery getter. Will look a lot like this for a while - Next step will be buying salvage M3 and performing an engine, trans, and suspension swap doubling my horsepower and getting rid of the autotragic, then the final phase will be welding the flared M quarter panels on and mating the M's flared fenders to the wagon fenders so that the M front sheetmetal will fit, full repaint in the original Mysticblau, and possibly an interior color swap as I think the black/Imola red combo would look a lot sportier than the current beige. I had a 74 BMW 2002 that I got form an Uncle after it sat neglected for 10 years, got it running. Sold it and bought my Datsun.
1964 Datsun 1500 Got it delivered in September and drove it as is until I had to put it away for the winter. Over the winter I have removed the push bar thing on the front bumper, replaced the leaky and hacked up exhaust manifold. As soon as it is warm it is off to the shop to get a exhaust fabed up and carbs tuned. 1972 Vespa Small frame 90cc Was bought new by my Aunt, I was given it in pieces. I had someone reassemble as small engines scare me. powder coated all the tan pieces, converted from 6v to 12v. Original crank and housing. Fun and scary to ride at the same time. Max speed is 42 down hill with the wind at your back. |

Current projects are:
1995 Camaro Z28 currently undergoing a 383 stroker swap after the head gaskets gave up and a pushrod decided to pop out from under the rocker and went down into the block. The new 383 is in, backed by a built 4L60E after the car torched the stock and two remans. I've just need to plumb all the lines and figure out how I want to tackle the stupid Opti-spark. 1984 VW Vanagon that needs a transmission/shift linkage overhaul, new carpets, seat covers and an exterior respray. My dad bought it almost 30 years ago and gave it to me when he decided to downsize. Holding on to it for sentimental value. 2000 4Runner that I'm using as my DD. Currently lifted, bigger tires, skid plates, rock sliders, and in the process of adding extra LED lighting. I should be done messing with this thing after I add some projector retrofitted headlights, steel plate bumpers with a rear tire carrier, and possibly the TRD supercharger. I'd like to add another motorcycle to the stable since I regret selling my CBR 600RR a couple years ago, but other things have priority. |

I still have my tarp covered 1990 engine swapped (1.8L) miata..
thinking of just dropping it off at a Miata specialist, with a short list of things to address. writing a check and getting my miata back rather than buying some commuter car to get my STi out of the commuter role. I just don't have time/motivation to troubleshoot the issues with it anymore.. but I kinda want it back |

Pretty much. It's the Performabuilt Pro Street 4L60E that supposedly has a custom sun shell of theirs in it, but it looks just like the beast. It was holding up well before the motor gave out, and it's supposedly good to 500whp.

Switched from cars to bikes a couple years ago-
Sold: 2008 STi Stage 2+ (fun DD until the piston rings went) 2001 Honda S2000---2.4L-Turbo 510whp/400TQ on low boost (15psi) pump gas tune +105ishWHP for every 5PSI above that. Car was immensely fun, but I had nightmares of needing new trans/diff/axles/etc. every few years. Ran on all season tires all year round, just because they were cheaper to replace than drivetrain components. 1987 Honda Civic SI----100K miles, stock, fun, original. clean. sold it for double what I paid for it. And no pics on photobucket, but I'm currently rebuilding a 1981 Honda CB750 and ride my 2014 Honda Grom like it's my job. |

It was suppose to be this:
But, after having a baby and buying a house within 6 months of each other, it's been put on the back burner. I don't have the money or the time to put into it right now. It needs to be rewired, as it's a patch work of splices, needs painted, needs a new head liner and window/door seals, and needs a few gaskets on the engine and trans that seep and occasionally drip. I'm waiting for either a decent 4x4 frame to pop up, or a full truck that I can swap my good parts over to. It could also really use a 4 speed trans. Here's how it sits now: Mainly just try to keep it running and driving as best I can for right now. It's having an issue getting fuel at the moment. |

1963 Impala.
She currently sits, with minimal work being done, until I can build a garage. 100% complete car. All of the chrome is there and in fantastic shape. The rust looks bad, but is very minimal. I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet. I couldn't let 25ft of Merican' steel go to waste. Was part of a Widower's estate. They were going to junk what was left. A buddy and I scooped this up and the Cadillac. 4 doors for more whores. Last edited by Smalls; 03-25-2016 at 10:31 PM. |

The 66 Galaxie that I will finally get back to this year, after having it sit for 3 years.
The body is coming off of the chassis, onto a cart and off to the body shop while i sell the current running gear, rework the chassis and drop a coyote/6 spd in it. It's also getting c6 z06 brakes , coilovers and a watts link. Just got this. In the midst of collecting parts for it. its getting some bits from the R version, long tubes/ exhaust, trans/dif coolers, full suspension treatment, r Spec forgelines, some dyno time and some other doodads. |
