Gonna keep both, or just to pick a favorite and flip the other?

Does anyone know where I can send a polished watch case/bracelet to have a brushed finishing? I see a lot of DIY videos but I'd rather send it to someone else to do it.

Is there a local watch maker type guy that you trust or have used for servicing before? That's where I'd try first. I think NEWW does this type of work too, but not entirely sure on that. Regardless, anybody that does watch servicing should be able to do this for you

Due to you RG, I've been on the hunt for a GADA that has all of your criteria too but has to be blue so thanks for that***128514;. A Lorier Neptune might be in the lead for me: perfect size, great bracelet, and easy movement to replace when needed but no date. Someone on reddit is selling a blue Triumph and I'm tempted, a little, to offer my OD65 as a trade. I didn't realize how much I would miss having a sunburst blue dial until I didn't have one anymore. |

Tomorrow is new watch day for me!!
I love C.Wards designs but I just struggle with trusting them after my experience with them and their QC. |

The new Seiko presage additions look like an alpinist & cocktail time made some boom boom.
I don't hate it. I think the dial looks better than the latest alpinist. https://seikousa.com/collections/pre...roducts/srpe45 |

Why dont they put the date at 6 on those dials? It would keep everything more uniform and look cleaner.

Thanks. I am impressed, and the bracelet is fantastic. And if the COSC cert data points and my first 18 hours or so are to be believed, I should expect amazing accuracy.
I may need to reevaluate things in light of getting this. Damasko DA36 may go; too similar a dial to this and my wife has never been a fan of it. |

Slabsides and all, the Black Bay Heritage collection is really well executed IMO.

Yep, same price. Difference being that if I took this one out of the box and I did not like it for any reason I could send it right back. And we know how picky and indecisive I am, so that was a distinct possibility!

That CWard is like a budget Spitfire. Where are their Nearly New sales? I remember their site having a specific section for them but cant find it anymore with their redesign.

The nearly new pop up randomly sometimes, and I happened to check that url the other day just when they'd posted up a bunch of items for sale, but they send out advanced notice emails to their email distribution list too. NN are usually 25 or 30% off. Despite them being returned (used) watches, they are usually indistinguishable from new. The big clearance (50%) of old models and prototypes usually happens in January and July. I'm really liking the Sandhurst. The "vintage" aspect is just enough to make it interesting, but has all the other stuff you expect from a modern watch. |

The honeymoon continues for me. The red and gold gilt is so good together.
CW makes really good designs. I still wish my C60 Elite didn't fall apart twice on me because I would still own it and love it. As for Rolex, everyone has gone full stupid. A Daytona is not a $30,000 watch, an OP isn't a $20,000 watch and a Sub isn't $13,000. |
