Finding out that you're going to be a father for the first time.

See the other thread for all the anxiety that comes after that realization sets in.

when i found out for the first time, the anticipation was more like riding a roller coaster for the first time, or bungee jumping. the reality didn't actually set in until D-day.

Girl makes up B.S story to not hang out with you. Take her close friend out on a date (who admitted she wanted to **** me first).

Girl finds out I'm taking her friend, I reply with "hope your date is just as fun as mine will be".

Don't think so bitch. Not ruining my weekend.

Nothing about that sounds like a "joy".

"You" "me" ... at least make your objects match.

When you meet someone, and you shake their hand, and say, "pleasure to meet you", and they respond, "good thanks, and you?"

And you let it slide, but you know that they know that you have the power over them because they awkwardly screwed up the introduction.

Awwwww yeeeaaahhh.

Someone in my aisle asks this morning how to change their password in Outlook (we just switched from Lotus). I tell them that you just have to say, "Change Password" while holding the Shift key, and it will prompt you. He says, "Change Password," then asks if I'm joking. Good for a laugh first thing this morning.

I have trained myself to only ever reply "thank you" to the person who checks me in at the gym.

Also, I just discovered that you can actually trim your fingernails with acceptable results using regular old office scissors. Awesome.

Just add an artful tag...

...and by "your movie", I mean, the tired, dark cinema of the human condition.

He would never get that one. I could probably stump him for days with the tape on bottom of mouse trick.

Passed my CDL-B permit plus airbrake and hazmat endorsement tests yesterday, all with no studying. Made me happy.

And before you ask, I'm trying to get involved in a different aspect of my current job that will require a CDL. It should mean I end up off the night shift, and I won't have to deal with the backstabbing tard who happens to be my acting supervisor at night.

When the cute girl that works at a different work site swings by your work site to hang out and brings awesome coffee.

A lot of the machines at work run the nVidia drivers where you can press ctrl+alt and an arrow key and flip the screen sideways or upside down. That's always a classic.
