Default My little brother(s) melts faces

I just had to share this because I'm so proud of the little bugger.

He's competing in this 'King of the Blues' competition sponsored by Guitar Center and this was his first effort.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8Doc...layer_embedded

Not sure why it's not embedding but please check it out!

That performance won him the regional and he's moving on to the finals.

I'm sure he will go a long way with that. Even if he didn't win, he would at least be noticed by a lot of people... But he's got my vote.

Here he is playing with my dad and Johnny Lang on the 'Experience Hendrix Tour'

This was about a year ago.

And playing with Aerosmith a couple years ago:

that sorta struck a nerve with me Whitty... My dad was a VERY talented blues player, and I grew up listening to nothing BUT blues sometimes. Even to this day, Ill put on some Clapton, Hendrix, Vaughn...etc... and people give me the cockeye.

As for your brother, I am really impressed.

Hey man, I wish I could embrace you, after you said that, I really do. I'm sorry to remind you of your pops, but know that I'm here if you really need to talk - I'm aware of what you've been through but I couldn't even begin to imagine it, not in the slightest. Really though, I'm sorry to drudge up anything having to do with your dad, I really am. I'm here for you if you need someone to talk to.

And thank you for the compliment, I can assure you my brother will take it to heart.

All in all I'd love to hear your dad's playing, I really would.

That is just awesome. What an experience at such a young age. Being able to play with artist of that level must build great confidence. With that comes great advice from said artists. My dad is a guitarist, and plays well. But he never got to anything as awesome as that. And it just makes me want to have my guitar sent here so I can start up again. But I think your brother can make something out of that. He has a nice resume for his age. Not many can compare with that.

Your brother rocks! I could listen to that all night long. I'm gonna have to show my buddy, who's a hardcore music buff, this. He'll love it.

I really hope you're just stupidly drunk and can't really comprehend what you're watching.

If not, I'd pay $100 to see Whitford punch you in the face, right now. I'd record it, then loop it with reversed angles over a track played by his little brother.
