I'd like a new receiver with DTS HD MA decoding... but I still don't have a player that can bitstream it anyways... my receiver is less than a year old, so I'll just keep it for now...

I always like it when the wife notices things like that... if she can notice, then obviously its a huge improvement.

How many players out there can bit stream it? I think my harman dvd does Do you mean 6 ch. direct on the unit? I can't keep up these days, I just finished my setup, and it's outdated by a couple of years already

Since I'm a retard and didnt see this thread... I'll just cross post it here...

So, last year for Father's Day, I bought & Installed an LCD TV above my dad's hot tub for him... Seen below.. (Please Excuse the lousy cell phone pics)

Now... he loves the TV, but his only complaint is that its not very loud.. And when the hot tub is on, it makes it difficult to hear...

What would OT Recommend for some speakers to install behind the hot tub to help make it easier to hear? I am thinking something wireless, preferably without having to hang a receiver under the TV, and keep the look clean. Maybe something on a stand? Do they make a wireless in-wall?

I don't know of any wireless in walls, sucks to have to buy a reciever to run a couple speakers in wall, you could possibly get away with one of those small all in one units and run a set of in walls instead of the speakers that came with it? Trying to think of what I would do if it were me... if I come up with somethin I'll post back

I'm just trying to think of the smallest easiest way to do this... I COULD put a receiver on the other side of the wall where the TV is, then run the speaker wires down to the floor and over... But i'd like to avoid it if i can...

What about wireless speakers on a stand or something? I believe there is an electrical outlet behind the hot tub so that would be okay... Especially if i can find like a TINY receiver I can put behind the TV, like something the size of a DSL router or something...

Here's mine. It's a crappy picture and I know my speakers should be farther away. I have a corner unit so everyone in the room can see the TV and my view of the ocean isn't obstructed. The cords on the right hand corner are just visible because I've been messing with my sub. They are normally hidden.
