400 miles on the build and it's already for sale with a leaking diff cover and an inoperable fuel gauge.

No thanks, Jeff.

not to mention it'll be "interesting" to drive if you wear anything larger than a size eight shoe with those door bars...

What is that thing trying to be? A comfortable track car? No stereo or AC, door bars and a plastic rear window then added sound deadening to the floor? Stupid

Okay, let me take a very deep breath. I love BaT for the cars only. I find 80% of the comments to be based on ignorance and/or privilege. BaT started out as an everyday guy/gal friendly daily thing that morphed into a reasonable auction thing for many of us, but has now turned into the latest auction (look at me and my money) platform for wannabe 1% er's. Don't get me wrong there are occasional fair prices paid, but the only one's really making out are the sellers and BaT for the most part. I could literally write a book on this, but no one would care for many reasons. Let me leave you with this. I still watch BaT everyday, but only for research. I have bid on several cars in the past, but it's unlikely I will again just because most bids at the auction end are impulsive and not reasonable. That being said, when it comes time to sell my Blaze Yellow you know it will be listed on BaT.

Never buy someone else's project. Buying a car that someone put tons of time and money into and then turned around and put up for sale - with problems - is buying someone else's project.

Way more fair for buyers, not as much for sellers. They also post more affordable, higher mileage cars.

If anyone is interested in this car, I've known both of the last two owners. One is a Subaru master tech, the other a Porsche master tech Super nice car.

Yeah, this is headed to a 3 or possibly a 4 as the first number in the winning bid.

Newp.

Federally illegal.

Maybe more so since it’s already here illegally, good luck making it properly legal once it’s 25 years.

Actually there are a couple in the country legally brought under some special provision. Not sure if this is the same car but Larry Chen featured one last year on his Hoonigan Auto Focus series.

Edit: seems to be the same car.

It's not illegal at all. It's in the country on Show or Display papers and officially on the list so it can be driven up to 2500 miles a year.
