That looks good

If you have HBO through your cable provider you should have access to HBO Max

Intrigued I am. I am enjoying I May Destroy You which is on HBO and is based in England and probably a shared production. Are they going to cut back on HBO content or just have competing shows across all platforms?

I like it - it's regular HBO + some goodies - which is great.

However, the app freaking sucks. I feel as if I'm using an app designed in 2015.

Watched An American Pickle last night.

It was okay, had some funny scenes but if you don't like Seth Regen you probably wouldn't like this.

It really is stupid. You can add it to Fire TV but Roku users are **** out of luck.

Mostly true but if you have Hulu you can access HBO Max through the Hulu app on Roku.

I don't think the entire hbo max library is available through hulu. I tried watching spirited away through hulu but it wasn't available.

It was interesting enough to want to watch Ep.2 but I'm undecided if I'll finish. I'm admittedly not in their target audience with the sci-fi/monster stuff.

Are any of you ATTNOW/TV/DIRECTVNOW early subscribers who got HBO free? They changed it to HBO MAX when that got released but apparently that's just a trial??

The **** is that ****. Do we go back to regular HBO when that expires?

There is no regular HBO. The HBO NOW/HBO GO apps were replaced by HBO MAX.

I get HBO through ATT because I have an unlimited cell plan through them and I also use ATTVNOW for my streaming service. As far as I know I get unlimited access to HBO MAX now.

Kinda what I assumed but I've gotten a couple of emails from them saying my trial is almost up. Might just be a goof or something.

I got the same email. I just noticed last month that my AT&T TV Now account worked for HBO Max.

I think giving the grandfathered ATTVNow accounts HBO Max was a mistake/oversight on their part, and they're backpedaling by saying it was a trial with an expiration date. There was no announcement that the grandfathered accounts had HBO access to begin with, so that's kind of a lousy trial if you didn't know it started.
