I have started planning out more things with all the spare time I have had recently

I am closing on my house this week so in a few months I will have a lot more room for hoarding things and nice pictures
  • Caliper choice is down to Godspeed UK 330mm kit or Stoptech 330mm kit
  • Looking into ordering two Jun bumpers , One for a street class setup and another with a more aggressive replica aero package
  • Searching for a set of gold Advans to replicate the Jun car but also perfectly happy with the Mach Vs for track use

End goal is obviously a Jun wagon but with full interior and Gridlife Street / GTA Enthusiast legal aero / powertrain.

I think I can get the chassis below 3000 pounds legally and while not sacrificing the ability to be a street car.

Moving out of the house I was renting , VW got great fuel economy towing a uhaul. Around 23-24mpg. Towing the Subaru should be in the 20-23mpg range at 60-65mph theoretically.

Subaru is waiting for parts to show up for axle service then its off to Flat Four Automotive down the road.

I move into my home in July so I hope to start finishing the car in late July / August sometime.

Things that I want to get done for sure this year
  • PRS 12:1 Steering Rack
  • Recaro Profi XL Seat
  • Finish interior up or reupholster it all

Service is chugging along

Axles are being rebuilt with new boots and everything is going along according to plan.

Item service / replacement priorities have changed a bit

Steering rack is starting to die which is not bad at all for 17 years and a lot of track time. I have been annoying Oakos about sourcing a PRS 12:1 rack so that should happen this fall sometime.

This year all the car will really get will be
  • PRS 12:1 Quick Rack
  • Recaro Profi XL drivers seat

Brakes , oil pan , Jun bumper and color change will likely happen in 2021.

Subaru got its first new exhaust ever from Stromung

http://www.stromungexhaust.com/02-07...-dual-tip.html

Fitment , quality and sound is all wonderful. Video will be up shortly its fantastic. Perfect for a car that you want to hear when you are getting on it yet quiet enough to not drone horribly on the highway while still being a 3 inch catback.

I had my friend Scott from Banes Racing Team weld up a vband to mate it up to the highly modified Tomioka twinscroll downpipe.
